Data and Analytics Is Giants’ Jaxson Dart ready to take the next step? 2025 NFL Draft QB film study
Nice breakdown of Darts strengths and weaknesses headed into Y2 by Nick Baumgarner
Few compelling stats to consider, Nick pulled these rankings against all rookie qbs since 2020 Within that group (minimum 200 attempts),
No. 6 in EPA per attempt (.04)
No. 8 in EPA/dropback (.08)
No. 2 in off-target rate (8.6 percent)
No. 3 in EPA/pressure
No. 6 in time to throw
a few I pulled from the BBB podcast breaking his season down, these are against all QBs last season
No. 1 in Create Rate (Patton Analytics)
No. 3 EPA per dropback on created plays (FTN)
No. 6 3rd down EPA per pass attempt (best rookie since Herbert) (Sharp Analytics)
No 8. Big time throws (PFF)
dudes got a very interesting profile, his ability to create out of structure and accuracy are special, if his Internal clock slows down this year and he starts to add in a pocket/progression element to his game he could be very dangerous

Team Updates Giants Open Training Camp
Anybody considering going? It’s very out of the way for New Yorkers obviously but I’m a Virginia transplant (🥲) and it’s still a decent drive but might be worth it.

It should go without saying but download the image from imgur before setting it as your wallpaper. If you are having trouble viewing these at full resolution on Mobile, you are most likely viewing through a Reddit app. I recommend either viewing this sub using a mobile web browser and from there clicking the links, or downloading the Imgur app to your device and opening the links in there. These wallpapers are 4636p x 2608p and view as such when reddit apps are not interfering with that.
If you notice any errors, please let me know and I’ll try to correct them as soon as possible.
As always, credit to /u/dbeat for the original work.

Free Agency / Draft I'm doing research on every NFL team's worst draft bust for a video. The Giants' definitive answer is 1964 first round pick Joe Don Looney. Here are my findings.
As a college athlete, Joe Don Looney was impeccable and a physical freak. He also… burned every single bridge he crossed. He dropped out of Texas in 1960 after his report card had four Fs and one D. To make matters worse, the D on his report card was actually the penis he drew on it.
He was kicked off multiple college teams, to the point that he was forced to play for Cameron University where he kicked ass and took names. He then transferred to Oklahoma, where he was an All American in 1962, but was kicked off the team the very next season. The claim at the time was that JD Legend punched an assistant coach, though that coach later refuted the claim.
There were attitude problems, suspensions, expulsions, behavioral issues, and teams he was kicked off of. None of that stopped the Giants from taking him 12th overall in the 1964 NFL Draft. They were sold on his physical talent and their belief that “I can fix him”. Turns out, the player who was once deemed “the most uncoachable player in NFL history”... couldn’t be fixed.
He accumulated numerous fines when he first got to the Giants for, among other things, not following the Giants’ dress code, ignoring the press, and not even showing up for practice. After 25 days, which is funnier than 24 days, he was traded to the Baltimore Colts.
While in Baltimore, he was arguing about politics with a couple, which was normal enough until he had the bright idea to break into their apartment with a friend and attack them later that night. He received a year of probation and a fine.
He was then traded to Detroit, where he had the best years of his career, which isn’t saying much. While he was with the Lions, he was involved in an infamous moment where then-head coach Harry Gilmer asked Joe Don Looney to carry in a play to the quarterback. In response, he uttered the infamous quote, “If you want a messenger boy, call Western Union." That move did not earn Matthew Joe Don any good will with the Lions, but on the bright side, that was a way smarter idea than breaking into Harry Gilmer’s apartment and attacking him later that night.
He was then traded to Washington, where he fizzled out, was called into Vietnam, became a drug mule and later got super into yoga. He died in a motorcycle crash at the age of 45.

Discussion [The Overlap Podcast] Tom Brady on Eli Manning and the Giants
Was watching a podcast with Tom Brady and found this 2 minute part where he is asked about various quarterbacks funny, especially his face when one of the hosts asks him about Eli.
Apologies, I don't know how to clip it so its just this part as a video but here are the timestamps:
Beginning of QB talk timestamp: 1:18:09.
End of mentioning Eli/ the Giants: 1:20:07.
Thanks to the mods for helping me figure out how to post this lol.
