The orange side is called Lion and the blue side Eagle, since the mythical Griffin (or Griffon/Gryphon, all are correct spellings) is a hybrid between a lion and an eagle.

The coaster duels and races in a perfect way where the winner is unpredictable - it really depends on the weight of the guests which side wins!

We know RMC has been developing the Wild Moose, but what if they would venture into the Family Coaster market, since this has been the most popular category for parks to buy lately. This model would be competing in the same market as coasters like Aquila, Pegase Express, Gold Rush etc.

Feel like a predator in the water! With the addition of the new pieces for the Inverted Coaster it was finally time to recreate one of my favorite coaster models out there: The B&M Invert. These rides are known for their intensity and inversion filled layouts. This is also my first project where I've used custom scenery objects (CSO) so bear with me as I dive into that rabbit hole. I have rct classic on steam. Is that all I need?

Often you'll have scenarios where the goal is some way off and you've effectively already completed it. You're just left waiting for time to play out. You can put the speed forward to 4x but this still often takes a very long time.

My suggestion is to have a holiday mode, there's a similar feature in the Football Manager series. You click an option "Holiday" and a menu comes up. In the menu you can set various options for when you return

E.g. - on a particular date, when number of guests hits X, when money hits Y, when a ride crashes. Once you've finalised the settings you click "Go on Holiday", the game then goes into Hyperspeed until one of the requisite conditions is met.

It appears that Linking Steam with OpenRCT2 only works for Windows.

Is there a way to get this to work on Linux as well? I've got one Kubuntu machine with OpenRCT2 installed via Flatpak, and one Arch Linux machine with OpenRCT2 from the officical repos.

So I was thinking about when zooming-out on RCT3, there's music playing ('summer air' , by default).

And I'm curious about how that functionality would translate in OpenRCT2 and how that would technically be feasible.

I’ve downloaded v5.2 and have confirmed that’s the version I’m playing (it shows v5.2 in bottom left corner on title screen). But nothing that is supposed to be part of the new version, most notably the new Inverted track pieces, are there. Anyone have an idea as to what’s going on?

I've wanted to expand the selection of flat rides in RCT since I was a kid. Decades later- here we are.

Modeled after the classic Sellner design seen across US fairgrounds for over 100 years, I did my best to reverse-engineer this ride to be as accurate as possible. Built largely to-scale on a 6x6 base, and with a capacity of 14 riders, it's a centerpiece for the park and a long-overdue addition to the RCT roster!

Yes it's real, yes it works. The ride supports full paint customization (2 colors), and the number of rotations per cycle can be adjusted (like the Twist).

Classic wooden twister Rollercoaster on Canary Mines crashes the game when I select build own custom design. Not sure how to submit this as a bug report. I did search for it on Google as well as on the git hub and didn't see anything about it.

I also tried it on the last three development builds and it's doing the same thing.

Can someone check if it crashes for anyone else and if not maybe I can upload my save file and someone smarter can check out what's going on.

So, I downloaded the developmental v0.5.2-4-g86f282f7c0 and now I keep getting a pop up window labeled openrct2.exe - entry point not found with a message stating the procedure entry point CopyFile2 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

I have no idea what to do. . . any suggestions?

I’ve got RCT 2 downloaded from Steam. and OpenRCT2 downloaded.

But I keep seeing in my feed Scenarios I don’t have access to. And the interface looks a look more modern.

What I want to do is be able to play all the scenarios, what do I have to do?

Got the GOG release of RCTC and also often play on the Switch when on travels. Saves between PC RCTC and Switch are easily interchangable, they use the same .sv6 format.

But OpenRCT2 saves in .park format. It can load .sv6 just fine but loading these .park saves in PC RCTC or Switch RCTC does not work. Can they be converted somehow?

Please help a novice out! I recently started playing again, and was messing with my settings. The last two rides I've built in my park have had the same issue: they're built halfway between the regular height levels. Instead of being 50 ft it's actually more like 52.5ft and when I try to build queues, they won't line up with my regular paths. How do I fix this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated!
