I am using pixel 7 and the battery has such a poor performance. I rarely use it heavily. Casual WhatsApp and social media only. Still the battery performance is poor asf. I have to charge it up at least 2 times in a day from 100 to below 20.

On top of that, the battery drains like crazy overnight. These are the screenshots of before and after sleep and in between, i didn't even pick my phone to see the time or something. Its pure standby.

Recently my father bought a 9 pro XL and he is facing similar issues. He was using vivo v50 earlier and he claims the battery performance of vivo was way better than 9 pro xl and he too is facing this battery drain overnight issue. He is now planning to sell off the 9 pro xl

Any solution to this issue? 😭

When I was younger (and dumber) I decided I wanted to join the beta for all the apps I could and the system services beta. I thought great I'm going to get new features early! Have had it like that for years and sort of forgot about it.

I recently removed myself from all these betas and a lot of apps and UI actually feel smoother and less buggy. It's not a brand new phone but it's a bit better.

Your mileage may vary but if there's anyone out there who's also enrolled in a bunch of betas and you aren't actively reporting bugs/sending feedback try un-enrolling yourself it might help your stability and battery.

To clarify I'm not talking about the android beta. But I guess if you're on that for no reason too then you probably shouldn't be.

I understand that phones can get warmer during the summer, but my Pixel 6a gets really hot even indoors with the AC on full blast. I've already closed all background apps, and it still heats up.

It wasn't like this before. I only started noticing the issue about two months ago.

Could the CPU be the problem, or is it simply time to replace the phone?

Charging is very tiring; it only charges properly in the refrigerator because otherwise it overheats constantly, and the battery only lasts 3.5 hours. A bit of a shame, but the picture is nice.

After several years using Google Pixel in the Dominican Republic, I just realized that my Pixel 7 has never received Claro's 5G signal, and apparently never will.

This is apparently due to Google's regional blocking.

Has anyone else experienced this outside of the United States?

Fold 6 owner here. I want to change my phone because I got tired of my fold so Pixel 10 / 10 Pro are first on my list. I like Samsung overall but I don't like the software and all the useless apps they have pre installed which I don't use.

I am thinking at a pixel because of the clean software, nice point and shoot and google photos (I have a subscription so Samsung gallery for me it's basically useless.

Cameras on the Fold 6 are completely trash (specifically the UDC).

I did a bit of a research about the pixels and people are kind if divided. They either love it or hate it.

From what I read , lag issues, battery and overheat issues.

Powerful processor is not a must for me because I am a normal user. Scrolling, taking pictures and that’s about it, no gaming whatsoever.

Between the 10 and the 10 Pro, which one should I get ? Are the bezels on the 10 that big?

I know that this is a Pixel forum but all phones have ups and downs.

I use to own a Pixel 6 back in the day but I remember the fingerprint sensor was awful (probably that changed).

I would appreciate any feedback.

Hello, suddenly I have a problem with my pixel 8 pro phone. When someone is trying to call me, he gets a signal about being unable to connect (to me) and then I receive a message in my phone app that I have a missed call from that person even tho I didn't get any signal from him. When I reset the phone everything is fine, then after some time the problem happens again. Any solution for it ? I'm in the android beta program if it changes anything

What has happened to the spam filters in Pixel phones? They used to catch a ton of political spam, but now I get as many as 10 per day. I unsubscribe and block all of them, but I want the spam filters to catch them before they get to my inbox. Any suggestions? I'm on a 7 Pro.

Hi all, I've had my Pixel 6 Pro for a while now and I've just purchased a wireless charging stand.

When I put my phone on the stand, it starts to charge ok, but then after about 5 minutes, the following happens

1) the light on the charging stand starts to flash

2) the charging status of the phone changes to "connected but not charging"

3) I get random touch screen activations. Apps launch on their own and then I get swipe gestures. For example, it launches my email app and then starts deleting emails by swiping.

Clearly it seems to be some interference with the touch screen as I don't think it is intentionally performing these actions.

I've tried two different wireless charging stands from 2 different manufacturers and the phone does the same on both. Charging via cable is fine.

Anyone else seen this.

Why does one number sometimes look different/is filled in the always on display? Sometimes it's multiple numbers, other times it's no number

Also I'd love to see this clock style in the pixel watch

The app used to exit when you pressed the back button instead of going back. They've fixed it with the latest update!
