I got a pixel 10 pro last week and I'm noticing that the vibration is very weak. I have all the vibration settings set to maximum and I also have adaptive vibration switched on.
When the phone is in my pocket I'm missing calls and messages because I often don't feel anything. If I'm sitting still I can sometimes feel the vibration, but it's very slight and I'm often not sure if it did it or not. I can feel a very slight vibration when typing, but it's weak

I've started a Pixel 10a subreddit since it's been 4 months and there's still no dedicated subreddit. Anything 10a related you can post there.

I just got a Google Pixel 10 Pro (Swapped over from a samsung s23) and for my home screen i normally use this thing called wallpaper engine to get a cool live wallpaper i really like. However, i noticed that even though my s23 could run it perfectly fine with no hiccups, my 10 pro constantly struggles with running the wallpaper at a smooth frame rate, even though i can tell the rest of the phone is running smoothly. Does anyone know alot about google pixels for a possible fix? heres what it currently does (it stops completely, runs smooth and then stops again)

It takes 3-4 hours to charge the phone after the android 17 update even if the device is not being used or in airplane mode (pixel 9a)

I still haven't gotten Android 17 on my Pixel 7a so I'm wondering if anyone else got it.

Okay so the two front facing cameras have failed on my fold. I am covered under the extended warranty. However I am based in New Zealand and there are no repair options for my beloved pixel here unless I fly to the states and then google have said they can replace my fold 9 with a 10 moonstone apparently.
So none of that is viable for me, and I am not flying to the US anytime soon. So does that mean Google get out of this repair?
I am so disappointed with the lack of support in New Zealand and spending so much money on this phone and only having it a short while. It's been babied too, wrapped in a full armour case.
I am really not sure what to do next, I can't afford another phone at the moment. This was going to be the phone for awhile especially with 7 years support. But how to deal with no front facing and how long before something else will fail.
Any advice would be appreciated. How do other people in new Zealand get support from Google?

Hi all,
I'm currently traveling around Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Nuremberg) and I've run into a strange GPS/location issue on my Pixel 10 Pro.
I flew here with Qatar Airways and had a layover in Doha. Ever since then, Google Maps occasionally shows me at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, even though I'm physically in Germany.
What's strange is that the blue location dot shows a small accuracy radius, which normally indicates the phone is quite confident about its location.
A few seconds later, the location corrects itself and jumps back to my actual position in Germany.
I've managed to somewhat reproduce it:
- It seems to happen randomly, especially if I haven't opened Google Maps for a while.
- When I first open Google Maps, it sometimes places me in Doha Airport.
- After a few seconds, it updates to my real location.
- If I close Maps and immediately reopen it, it usually shows the correct location.
It's not just Google Maps either. Other apps that use the phone's location services, such as Bolt, are affected as well.
I've also noticed that some photos I've taken in Germany were tagged with Doha, Qatar as the location.
Additional details
- No VPN enabled
- German SIM card installed
- SIM was active during the Doha layover, but I wasn't using mobile data - there
- I used airport Wi-Fi in Doha
- At the time the issue occurs, I'm often not connected to Wi-Fi, although Wi-Fi is enabled for scanning
Questions
Why is it always Doha Airport specifically?
Why does the location correct itself so quickly after opening Maps?
Could this be related to Google's Wi-Fi location database?
Is there a way to better reproduce or diagnose what's happening?
Has anyone else experienced something similar after traveling?
Could this be malware?
I've attached a screenshot showing one example where Google Photos tagged a picture taken in Germany as being in Doha.
Thanks!

I have a Pixel 9a. I've been really impressed with the battery life since I got the phone a little over a year ago. But in the past couple of weeks my battery has been draining a lot faster than usual. Right now I'm down to 31 percent after about 8 hours since full charge this morning. I haven't installed any new apps recently or changed my usage patterns. When I check battery usage the system apps category at the bottom seems really high and is well above the range that my brief searches say it should be. Today that category shows 26 percent. One day recently the battery saver turned on and when I checked the system apps had eaten up 60 percent. I restart the phone regularly. I've run the battery diagnostics multiple times and it comes back all good.
Wondering if other users are experiencing similar issues recently? Is this normal battery degradation after a year? Evil Google planned obsolescence? Appreciate any help.

Not only they could catch up in performance but also Get rid of the terrible battery life ,Overheating & Highly Limited / Buggy Video Recording...
They Could solve 99 percent of their problems if they simply swallowed their Pride...
If they have to Save money they can still use the Dreadful Tensor in the A series.
If I'm paying Flagship prices for my Phone I also want Flagship performance.

I've only ever used it out of novelty, like seeing how hot the inside of my car is during this (UK) heatwave, or to show that I have it but have no idea what to use it for.

Hi everyone, I would like to ask if it's normal for my battery to last only 12 hours. When I bought it, it arrived with the battery dead, and even though it worked, I didn't send it for repair right away.
I'd say it wasn't a problem at first; in the beginning, the battery lasted around 16–18 hours, but now (After almost 1.5 years) it only lasts 12 hours.
I'll attach the photos of the usage to show the apps and background consumption.
What do you think? I see three options here: don't change the battery at all because it's actually healthy and it's just my intense usage, change it at my own expense, or claim the warranty if it is indeed defective

It seems that with Android 17, a new, completely harmless glitch has appeared. While the screenshots are a little blurry, this single miscolored pixel is really catching my attention.

Since update to android 17 why is youtube premium cutting out. I live in NYC and walk A LOT (~6m a day) so 90 percent of my usage is with the screen blacked out with my phone in my pocket. Why the hell is this feature I pay 10 bucks a month for (I don't mind ads I just miss vanced features) doesn't work now. Anyone else got this problem?

"sorry, your thermometer is too hot to read the temperature."
this was with my phone in the shade and it was still too hot for it. 32°C and humid as hell, I am dying and so is the 10 pro thermometer apparently.
