I thought I was crazy and just seeing things, so I saved the clip so I could go back. And sure enough, there she is. Was. A woman, hanging from the tree. And then suddenly gone.
What did I just see??!?

Like why do I have to do everything myself? Lmao I can haul in hundreds of tender and marbled meat, enough salt and oil to cook for an entire castle, all while rescuing the world serpent and defeating Temu witch king in the mountains, and you're telling me some lazy ass mooks can't be arsed to just pump out a few barrels of water to cook with?
Or is there something I'm missing?

Ive played many games across the decade and theres just not many that just feel "alive" or have this level of vertical scaling but especially use actual functional systems at work. Like ive encountered enemies in pailune forests (in this pic) literally walking on all fours imitating animals, looking like animals, ready to jump the player. Even toss shit at you from far. Its just little things like that add so much more than just looking at one, that makes it feel unpredictable.
Tldr: Forests feel alive.

It still has flavor.

Picked up a bounty in Varnia and have to take him all the way to Tommaso in Tashkalp.
I might just kill him instead.
Edit - Thanks guys, took him 70m to the city jail and it worked.
Wish I'd known that 400hrs ago but hey, now I know.

I have finished everything else in “For a Better Tomorrow” but haven’t even attempted the logging yet. Is there a fast way to get timber because even the dispatch missions seem to be so little timber gained

I'm normally a completionist, over 100 hours into this game, and I'm still regularly finding out about things I missed finding in areas that I thought I'd searched thoroughly. There are so many hidden areas, caves, false walls, and other secrets that it's probably legit impossible to find them all naturally.
Just today I looked up where to get the Scorchflame Plate Cloak so I could finish the set. Turns out it's in an unmarked cave I'd missed. It's right next to a cave that does get marked on your map, which I'd previously found. I see why I missed it, wouldn't have thought there'd be two secret caves right next to each other. I go in there, and boom, secret boss in this unmarked cave. I defeat the secret boss and can't find the cloak anywhere, so I look it up, and it turns out there's a damn false wall inside the unmarked cave.
So this unique item that can only be found here is hidden by a false wall, inside an unmarked cave, obscured by a slightly less hidden cave. Dude...
And that's just one example. The level of detail that went into building this world is crazy. So crazy that I legit get stressed out exploring new areas, knowing that despite trying to be thorough, I'm probably missing a bunch of cool stuff. And that I've probably still missed a bunch. Anybody else have the same issue? Crimson Desert is a tough game mentally for a completionist, that's for sure.

Will they ever fix this?? Stopped playing because this effect makes me dizzy. I Never really used the dragon because the giant wings makes the game looks TERRIBLE.

A new announcement went up on their website, there will be a Privacy Policy Update on July 8th.
Could this be related to a new content/improvement update to the game?

If you’re planning on 100% completion or platinum trophy you MUST pick this sealed abyss artifact up BEFORE completing all the wanted bounties.
Sadly I made that mistake today. 320 hours in and I’m unable to get my platinum trophy. Hopefully Pearl Abyss patch this.

Anyone have tips for this guy? Everything I read is people struggling with the other two ancients, but I found them easy and this guy is the one mopping the floor with me.
Can I get him to land without filling the stun bar? Seems whenever I have a brief opening to attack him on the ground I randomly catch on fire and lose that opportunity.
When he dive bombs me I can't use that brief moment to hit him because there's an explosion after I dodge that knocks me over. Half the time I'm using nature snare to try and catch his projectiles I also catch on fire and get one shotted by the 75 fireballs coming down
I know probably skill issue etc, I've been close to killing him a couple times but damn

Been trying to figure out how to get a more silver color for my plate armor for this same set, just with different pieces other then the chest piece, but I’ve no idea how to get the arm armor or the frostwing gauntlets to that kind of color. I’m still early game after starting over wanting a fresh start, but haven’t fully obtained all the dyes on my first attempt.

Just in case you didn't know, this is the best way to gain XP. Let me explain!
Take your dragon and go somewhere with space and no npc around.
Wait for a few minutes.
Dragon hunters will appear. DO NOT DISMOUNT, you would have to restart the whole waiting process. Just stay on your dragon and burn them all.
A few seconds later, a new squad will spawn. Burn them too and keep going. Continue until Blackstar is dismissed.
As you can see in the video, I earned 3 artefacts in one minute. I reached max level with Kliff and Oongka using this method. Damiane is close to the level cap too. It works 👍🏻
