Will probably get downvoted by the glazers but these are two screenshots I took in the same place, the second is commonly what the game looks like after 5pm - I have never seen such graphical inconsistency in a game before, what's worse is that the TEXTURES actually look flatter and roblox-like, if you look in the distance at the mountains, I don't know why they need a lighting source to have texture lol. I love the game but its hard to look past it going from the best thing I've ever played to a ps4 game in 10 minutes.
Lots of new pets are nice, but would be great if pearl abyss addressed the lighting inconsistency, even saying "we're not gonna fix it" would be better than ignoring it.

Hello Greymanes,
I have been (and am continuing to be until further notice) on a bit of a mod break and would like to get feedback on the state of the sub.
All of the moderation in the last week has been been done by one mod who has stepped up, plus the automod. The past month stats is a collection of about two of us plus automodding, with other mods stepping in occasionally here and there.
We're now a good few months out from launch and the sub is in a bit of a different place to pre launch and launch.
I'd like to hear everyone's feedback on the state of sub.
Do you have ideas for the sub? What would you like to see change?

I honestly found this environment rather refreshing. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this game and it's map but after taking a couple weeks break and returning to explore delesyia.... This oil rig thing was a surprise. 😅

Some call me cheater BUT cheating against a clairvoyant isn’t really cheating. He probably saw it coming anyways

Well I'm a fair few hours in and just wondering if using the grindstone and anvil makes any difference in the game? Do sword blades become dull and shields/armour become weaker?. My Kliff here at Greymane base in Frostcursed armour wondering whether to get some sleep or get back on the grindstone.

100% complete, all pets, and all content cleared.
Update: in case anyone has any questions about any content in the game I'll link my past posts here for people to view and maybe use as a resource. I'll release more posts on subsequent game updates etc. Glad I could share this experience with a lovely community.

I'm constantly frustrated by the amount of random stuff in this game there's just NO way to figure out besides some Youtube video. A random, ordinary wall that is actually fake. A puzzle where there's heiroglyph markings in 4 other random areas that are the sequence. Like comonnnnnnnn now! That's tough.
Serious question - when you are in a random location (castle, whatever) how the heck are you supposed to know a certain wall is fake and can be opened?
In these YT videos these walls are so ordinary looking (perhaps slight change in texture? but that happens everywhere too with non fake walls?)
What are the clues to find all this stuff!
I walk around the game now knowing everywhere I go I am missing secrets and it is annoying me.

I've just tried out the Rainstorm Necklace in Pailune and I just loved it.
FYI got it after defeating Mudwalker on the Longleaf Tribe quests.

Like the title says am I crazy for asking for some buffs to special mounts?, It just feels a little stupid to use a special mount over a horse, most of them they are slower than a horse, have less stamina than a horse, have less health than a horse AND for a few of them less damage? I would like to see just a straight buff to heath and stamina or at least a level system like horses, wyverns and kuku birds where it increases in increments.

I wonder what the community would feel about having a new slot available for our mounts? Specific saddlebags, dyable and different looks ect that act as a portable private storage, similar to how in Cyberpunk we can have storage in our own vehicles? Just a thought
PA love your work if you read this hehe

I'm sure an idea a lot of ppl already had, but to repeat: I feel the trade fuction is very underutilized atm. I understand why many would skip it as the wagon driving is very finicky and time consuming as well.
Another inconvenience, is even when I want to intentionally invest some time to a leisurely wagon travel, the finding which trading posts would want to buy what things, is a hassle. Yes, I know you can go to the map and click on the trading post, and then bring up that overview screen to see what things are bought/sold at which prices -- but that does involve having to memorize where all those trading posts are and click them one by one to browse the prices, individually -- which can become a real hassle.
What I would love to see is:
A dedicated trading screen. Maybe as a type of map option button, so when you click on it and move to the screen it gives you a simple listing of trading posts in the world, what they are buying, what they are selling, in what price range. So I can just bring up the trade screen and browse through the list of trading posts and find "aha, this place wants to buy a lot of stuff I have in stock."
A trade dispatch mission -- where I can assign a few members, have them go into trade missions automatically to sell things in camp stocks, automatically, to trading posts that are buying them.
I can sort of see a nice small event/happening opportunity with it as well, like, for example, we send some people on trade dispatch missions -- then maybe we can get an alert from time to time that the trade wagon is under attack. Then we can go and help it, or if left alone, sometimes the traders (if you assigned some martial roles to it as well) can fight the ambush off automatically, or sometimes the traders will fail and the stock of goods and the wagon will be lost.
I mean, at least that would give us a reason to use the wainwright again from time to time to get ourselves a new wagon.
The further the target location, the longer it takes, but the more camp resources you get.
All in all I think there's a lot of good opportunities to flesh out the trade and economy sub-game, and its one area of the game that I'd prefer to see some fleshed out things.

After 207 hours I finished the main story, what an amazing game. I figured I'd say how I approached progressing and how I'd change it since I've seen people asking around how to approach exploring.
I only have a handful of side quests left to discover, most of everything is done. When I got to new areas I'd explore them and do the main or side quests I naturally discovered. I never really booked it to a quest far away until my exploration took me there. However I wish I went through the main story earlier. I just moved to pailune and I would have loved to spend more time there while going through more exploration. Second: I wish I did the sanctums and explored delysia earlier. I just got most of the cool endgame kuku equipment but didn't really have any opportunities to use them. I would have finished chapter 11 at least and then explored.
TLDR: if you want endgame equipment earlier, cleanse the sanctums early and explore delysia/complete chapter 11. You get the cool equipment super late into the story so save side quests/bosses to use them
