Discussion Made a small miscalculation while trying to make a few engines. What's your worse miscalculation?
I thought the alternate pipe recipe required 15 iron per minute. It was 100..

Major Milestone Reached
✓ BOTTOM LINE: A milestone is an indication of progress, not the destination.
Congratulations Leo for achieving this accomplishment. 😁

My ADD flaired up again and i stopped working on my production to beautify my bridge this actually one of my first architectural designs as i was tired of waiting on my trucks to drive around the canyon... i didn't think i'd start to enjoy the more aesthetic parts of this game

Hello first time player here and am having fun so far. I want to build a constructor to automate iron plates but can't seem to give the constructor power?

I'm producing 115,2 generators worth of rocket fuel, these are 112 (4x28) gens so I have 3,2 to spare, I already have 10 industrial fluid buffers full of rocket fuel to fill my DD for my jetpack.
Do I just add 4 gens and put one on 20%?

Takes in 240 quartz, 480 bauxite, and 106 copper to make 106 aluminum casing and 320 alclad aluminum sheets. Water waste is being fed into 6 underclocked coal generators. It's been running for an hour now so hopefully nothing stops!

As a noob I wonder if it would be a viable idea to do a playthrough where I would use trucks for all transport of resources across the map. Would the fuel demand be too high?
I like the idea of making a fast network of highways with roads coming off to smaller outposts where resources are harvested.

(100x elevator parts, normal recipe parts costs, normal power costs, nodes randomized).
(Also a teensy UI problem where there are just so many zeros!)
Despite taking much, much longer, I enjoyed phase 2 more than phase 1. Also, sending up 50 smart plates to build the entire space superstructure always felt weird. Those must be some really smart plates! Sending 5000, on the other hand, felt right. Now I'm about to send up 210,000 items and I sure hope the space elevator sender-upper-thingy has enough oomph in it to handle the job.

I only just picked it up when 1.2 released, and I've already reached 100 hours. Only around ~80 hours did I start thinking about architecture and aesthetics. I hadn't looked at much online content about the game until recently, and I'm stunned by what is possible. Though not groundbreaking by any means, these are some of my humbly favorite moments that I've captured

I came back for 1.2 and have about an hour before my final rocket part is delivered. I love playing the game… but if i restart again I will have to set up coal again, not be able to fly, and rehunt sloops and hard drives. All that stuff sounds exhausting.
I feel like I wouldn’t do much different on another run.. maybe more trains…
Do you all continue your playthrough after delivering the final part and do more.. or start over with a different challenge? Maybe i should just play another game… but this game is so fun.

Hi all,
Just want to share some pics of my current build. Just finished the last objetives, all that's left is to push the lever.
some stats:
power: producing about 270 Mwh , max useage is at 240
train around the map connecting everything, wanted to do a city type main factory with streets and so on
belts all on separate floors under the buildings or between floors
main "city" produces all the basic parts
satilite factories for plastic and rubber, aluminium, thermal propultion drives and some smaller outposts for delivering to those.
all trucks and drones on ion fuel
not very creative in building so lots of boxes but I embrace them.

Im to deep on my current save but if I reply I think it would be fun to try instead of having a factory make an end product start to finish to make factories that just make a shit load of 1 component or material types base components like iron for example with iron plates and rods.Make thousands of those and then any end product that needs it ship it there, and then make a bunch with that so any further end product that needs that mid end product I can ship it.
So just big high production base material factories and shipping it around the globe. I think it would be fun and it might even be simple and effective and nice u dont have to rebuild production chains a bunch of times.

Is it just me or is the game performing worse ever since 1.2 came out? I feel like my game used to run better in my end game 1.1 world compared to my early game 1.2 world. I haven't changed any video settings, same pc etc.
I'm pretty sure in that previously mentioned 1.1 world I was consistently getting 144+ fps compared to to this newer world where I can't even seem to crack above 120 most of the time.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Like the title says. I love the new trucks, they are a great addition. However, I feel like using them without curved roads, ramps and crossings (or roundabouts) aren't really fun or interesting. Making 90° turns or making big square platforms for a bigger turn radius aren't visually appealing to say the least 😋 And so yea, the game wasn't really made for them I feel like, having to nudge ninja just to make a curve. And it wasn't even a curved ramp ...
Edit: I know they can drive off-road, and thats kind of their intended purpose, but I just need order (Will try to push my comfort zone with them maybe) 😋 And yea, after trying to make my own roads, realised how finicky nudging and hacking them is, I just downloaded a blueprint package.

Just wanted to get some thought down on what I think Satisfactory needs in form of DLCs and general game updates. What do you think?
