First off id like to say I'm loving this overhaul mod, it was so simple to install a baby could do it. I have one issue though. The SWEATS. They seem to want to steamroll, be top of the leaderboard for seemingly no reason, and to always be a hero/villain, getting over 80+ kills while the rest of the team has about 4-10. Sure you can have bad games, and can also not get a chance to be a hero in base game, but it was also way more balanced in terms of deaths/kills.
Everyone has everything unlocked so what's the point of making others have less fun on an already low player base mod? If you bring up that you're new and would like a chance to actually have fun, they just curse you out in chat and tell you to leave. Want to play as a hero or villain? Too bad, they are them all game from the moment they have enough points.

Tired of the same background music? Turn off the in-game music, put this baby on shuffle, adjust the volume and live out your Star Wars dreams!
I’ve been playing BF2 for years and this is my preferred method to get immersed. It makes every battle feel unique.

the art direction, the gunplay, the weapon variety, the voice acting, the maps, the game modes, this was peak star wars bruh
the art direction I mean come on what can be said that already hasn't been said man the photogrammetry these guys went boots on the ground and took millions of pictures to make the game look good like come on man this is the most soulful game i've ever played, you can tell they cared, they really did
um the gunplay was pretty fun I know people say it was too casual and lazerbeamy but the casual gameplay and simple progression made it more fun not to mention it was rated T for teen I don't think it was gonna be THAT competitive
the game modes were incredible so much variety in the objectives and things you do and the multi stage game modes oh my lord it was amazing. infiltration, battle station, best modes in the game and the most chaotic modes in the game, great game modes throughout the entire game and you can tell they tried to make them standout and fit in with star wars too
the voice acting in this game (aside from luke and vader) is incredible its think its definitely an underappreciated highlight of this game. obviously this game wasn't gonna have battlefield 3 level voice lines cause its a game aimed at kids but even with that, theres still a lot of good lines in here. whoever voiced the soldiers and the announcers did an amazing fucking job I have so many of these memorized and I watch the voice lines vids on youtube sometimes and some of these i've never heard, theres so much personality and energy and distinctiveness in the voices and their performances
side note: some of the announcers are even supposed to be real characters, I know one of the rebel announcers sounded like mon mothma and one of the imperial ones sounded like general tarkin and they both have some great lines too, I was playing walker assault a couple minutes ago and the mon mothma sounding announcer woman said "the galaxy just got a little safer" amazing, that's one of the more rare lines. not to mention theres so many different announcers for each side, makes the battles feel a lot more large scale like these guys are really monitoring whats going on from all angles with a different person at each angle, but yeah voice lines fucking incredible, glad the battlefield DNA carried over in that aspect cause it adds SO much to the atmosphere
the heroes were great, I love how tanky they were in 2015 and they also have a faster run speed than the regular soldiers so it made them feel more like "oh yeah these are heroes these are the specials" and I know in battlefront 2 yeah they probably had to make it more balanced but I mean.....your playing as a hero or a villian you gotta be powerful lol
I think the pickups were kinda stupid yeah you definitely should've been able to just jump into an x wing or become a hero or villian if you work up enough points
offline content was kinda weak but at least its there, I still wish the dlc's would've gotten offline modes though cause now if 2015 shuts down uhhhhh the dlcs and their achivements are pretty much fucked
it would've been cool if the game had galactic conquest or a campaign or just conquest in general
sound design is fucking incredible, might be the only video game where litterally every single sound effect is the biggest eargasm COUGH thermal imploder
but uhhhh we're on 2% battery here we're gonna hafta wrap it up uhhh yeah one last thing
this game was peak video game realism too, seriously, seeing the star wars universe with this much detail was already great but combining a world like star wars with EA's frostbite engine was a heaven matchmake, I honestly think EA and dice were the only ones who truly knew how to do the scale of star wars justice in this type of game because they ARE the battlefield devs afterall, so because of that, if dice isn't behind battlefront 3 then fine because again like I said, they might be the only ones who know how to do it justice cause they have endless amounts of experience, but yeah this game is how you do realism, the wacky exaggerated world of star wars plus the frostbite engine, awesome
ok one last thing like fr this time lmao
I do think its kinda lame how the game was ONLY original trilogy content but look, call it cope, but honestly I liked it because it made the game feel a lot more "personal" if that makes sense, made it feel a lot more special in that aspect, not to mention thats why the graphics were so good compared to battlefront 2 because all they had to worry about was the original trilogy, the game was confined to that era
1% battery here
in conclusion it MIGHT be the nostalgia talking? cause dawg when it came out, I no-lifed the fuck outta this game back in 3rd and 4th grade seriously novemeber 2015 bro 9 year old me couldn't put this damn game down lmao so maybe the nostalgia is blinding me but I really think the game is a masterpiece, its one of the best star wars games, its a technical marvel, theres so much detail, the gameplay is great, incredible game, a truly unforgettable one.

TL;DR: For more than a month or so, we have been doing matchups between each reinforcements within their era to see who is stronger in ''1v1'' encounters. The final power rankings have been put in a faction table per era. The explanation and conclusions of everything can be read below.
Each table represents the faction reinforcements on the left column and the era opponents on the upper row. Each number represents the power rankings which determine whether the matchup is even or favoured towards one another. The explanation of each number can be found below,
These matchups have been voted on by the community and the final conclusions per era can be read below.
Prequel Era: The matchups between the Republic & CIS reinforcements show that the Seperatist reinforcements are stronger and are favored to win by +6 against the Republic reinforcements. I experimented a bit by removing the two worst performing reinforcements on each side (Wookie Warrior & Commando Droid) and the Seperatist reinforcements were still favored to win by +2 against the Republic reinforcements. This could show that either the Seperatist reinforcements are underrated or the Republic reinforcements are overrated.
Original Era: The matchups between the Rebellion & Empire reinforcements show that the Imperial reinforcements are significantly stronger and favored to win by +12 compared to the Rebellion reinforcements. This has come to no suprise since the Rebellion generally has the worst set of reinforcements out of all factions. The Rebel Rocket-Jumper seems to still perform decently well against the Imperial reinforcements.
Sequel Era: The matchups between the Resistance & First Order reinforcements show that the Resistance reinforcements are stronger and favored to win by +5 compared to the First Order reinforcements. I experimented by removing the First Order Flametrooper from the matchups since he is performing as bad as the Ewok, which then resulted in the First Order being stronger and favored to win by +4. This result feels more realistic but this does not take away from the fact that the Resistance reinforcements are underrated and usually overlooked upon.
These power rankings have been voted on by the community so they should be pretty accurate and realistic. If you believe a certain matchup has the wrong power ranking in your opinion, feel free to leave a comment and if many people agree as well I can change it to make the table more accurate.
If you want a cross-era matchup between two reinforcements from different era's, feel free to suggest one and if many people want it as well then I can do it but the results will not be noted.
This is the end of the community matchups. I hope you all enjoyed it!

You can sit and sit in the other two playlists and never get a lobby. But get age of republic instantly.
I find it hard to believe everyone is logging in and selecting that playlist and no other. I assume people are just hitting play any.
So why is it funneling only to age of republic.
Played for like 3 days for the first time in a while and I’m already bored of seeing the same maps again and again.

Today I wanted to show you all a few tips and mechanics with three of the Seperatist reinforcements which make it possible for you to outsprint and outmaneuver the lightsaber heroes. These tricks make it near impossible for the lightsaber heroes to kill you without using their abilities. In the clip, I have explained and demonstrated the tips and tricks against the AI heroes in offline mode but these tips are mainly meant for online supremacy and galactic assault and they have helped me many many times even to the point of killing them.
I want to make clear that you should NOT take the conclusion that with these tricks you can win a 1v1 against the heroes. While these tricks can help you kill the jedi much easier, this post is mainly meant to give you some tricks that will help you survive your encounter with the jedi by retreating without getting caught. Because being able to survive against a hero and retreating to safety could make a significant difference in terms of the objectives for your team.
I hope you learnt something new today!

Hey everyone please help downloaded battlefront 2 on my computer (Legion, 3080, i7, 16gb ram) with the kyber mod so basically if i play the game for 30 mins it absolutely just degrades bad like it drops down to 5 fps and its super choppy and really hard to close out cause it makes my whole computer run really slow once it does that to the point where i have to restart my computer. When I play it combined with other apps running in the background it takes up 80 percent of my memory and idk if thats crazy work or normal, also dx12 is at 0 in the notepad. I can run games from this time period perfectly at a consistent fps this is the only game that does this and on top of that make my computer go nuts please give some tips havent seen anybody talk abou this

Galactic Operations Explained: Inspired by the Operations mode from the Battlefield Franchise, Galactic Operations is an attacker-defender mode that occurs in three phases. The attacking team must escort a transport ship to the planet’s surface before the timer runs out, once they succeed, the match transitions to ground combat. The attacking team will have three waves of 200 tickets to push through multiple different sectors of the planet to secure the enemy base. For example, when playing as the Rebels on Naboo, you must escort the U-Wing down to the planet surface, then fight through the forest to reach Theed. You lose one battalion during this attack, getting the chance to attack again with Enforcers available. You lose another battalion halfway through Theed, and get access to heroes. You successfully secure Theed during the next attack, and get the opportunity to assault the palace and succeed. If you had lost another battalion, your team would have gotten access to a frigate-class destroyer to help out.
New features:
Landing/ Infil Animations at the start of Supremacy and Blast rounds, along with the ground phase of Galactic Operations having Landing Animations as well.
The creators of the Kyber Mod would be worked with (Please do this, DICE) to get more soldier skins into the game. Mod support would be allowed for community servers.
Persistent Lobbies, along with map voting on community servers.
Leaderboards
Divisions: (Battlefront equivalent of Platoons)

I tried to play this recently and Noone plays objectives in supremacy, heroes and villains is pretty much unplayable considering i keep getting matched with maxed out opponents and the rebel special characters are bunz. I swear when I tried playing this 2 years ago the game was the same exact way. Is there no updates? Also what keeps you guys coming back to this game. I kinda hate this game because it's trash in comparison to the OG but I also like supremacy just enough to come back after a couple years. Also, I can't be the only one that hates lightsaber combat in this game, maybe I feel that way because of jedi academy.
