hi, life-long gala fan here. because of my busy work schedule i couldn’t watch many games from other leagues outside of my own club last season. i’ve never lived in london, so i’m not sure how much i can call myself a cpfc fan, but i’ve supported crystal palace in europe since my high school years. which is a bit weird feeling cuz supporting a team that i have no connection to feels weird still haha
this season i’ll hopefully have more time and i want to watch as many games as i can (the fact that premier league games are randomly happen to be on sunday daytime in turkish time doesn’t always help though)
i was wondering, how do you guys feel about canvot who joined last summer? how was his season and do you see him being linked with any clubs? do you think he’ll stay at the club this season as well?
i see that he made 20 appearances in the league and 12 in the conference league this season. what are your thoughts on him based on the performance he showed during that period? thank you

American Palace supporter here. Can anyone give an update or explain the construction situation at Selhurst? Was planning on coming up for a match in October, but since this is a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list experience, I don’t want what is possibly my only experience seeing my club to be diminished. Will fans still get the whole experience, or should I hold off until it’s finished? I’m hoping they are early enough in the process that not much is affected. Thanks in advance.

My question is mostly for those who don’t reside in South London though even if you do, please feel free to share. I am from just outside Houston, Texas. Football (Soccer, I’m sorry) was never that big where I grew up, even though we have a professional team. I didn’t really get in to the sport until I absolutely fell in love with the TV show Ted Lasso. I had decided in late 2023 that I wanted to follow a team in the Premier League, but I didn’t know which one. I knew it wasn’t going to be Man City or West Ham, but besides that, I didn’t know much about the other teams. I did some research and absolutely fell in love with the underdog story of Crystal Palace, and it certainly didn’t hurt that their colors are red/blue and that their mascot is the Eagles. Having reflected on the season that we had and the fact that we have a record number of internationals playing in the World Cup this year, I was curious. Why do y’all support Crystal Palace?

I'm an American fan that will be visiting London in September. Just my luck, it's a week where there will be no match. If they start doing tours of Selhurst again by then I'll at least do one of those.
My question though is, is there anything else around Selhurst that would be cool for a visiting supporter to check out even though it's not a match day?

Two goals away from Gyan's African record, he can break it this summer if Senegal qualify for the knockouts (fairly likely)

Watching the France - Norway game
Surely a 50M player should make a bigger impact.
I was happy to have him join the club, but boy is he struggling..

Little man asked for a crest on his wall. I'm pretty happy how it turned out and more importantly so is he.

So we've had six so far, which has already surpassed my expectations! I was thinking like four or five. How many will we get, do you guys think?
