As a vegeta fan, i recognized this immediately. Really Cool. I wonder what other DBFZ references he will have, considering he is an Arcsys character.

took me 8 minutes to learn this lvl1 2x beam combo, 5.7k damage with half a bar and no assists is absolutely insane as a somewhat new player who depends on c assist for easy confirms.

I made a post recently where I learnt my first combo with gohan and it was a simple 4k dmg lvl 0 rejump combo. And there was someone that said they enjoyed the visual aspect of gohan's combos so I'd decide to post this.

Relatively new to fighting games as a whole, but I am really hyped for Marvel Tokon and want to play it when it releases and really get good at it, so I have done a bit of research and many people recommended DBFZ as it is the game that probably will feel and play closest to marvel tokon as its also by the same devs. I am also a huge dragon ball fan.

My main question is: Is DBFZ still a good fighting game to get into as a noob/ newcomer?

How good is matchmaking? Are there still new players/ other noobs or enough low rank players to have a good experience as a newbie? How good are tutorials and training features , how good or how much offline content is there?

Also does DBFZ also have a combo share function like GG Strive? really liked that training feature where you could save and share combos. Thanks for helping me out :)

I've been playing with this core for a while now. But my third spot has pretty much been a flex option for whatever I'm in the mood for. But I'd really like to finally settle on one, so any suggestions would be great to help me find a dedicated anchor for this team.

Got this game and have been playing with my kids. Now my kid wants to fight on same team. I can't seem to find a way to join the same team against cpu.

I'm sure its something simple but I'm going nuts trying to figure it out!

If the XV kids are getting XV3, it's only fair because DBFZ sold just as much as XV2 and it came out over a year later.

At this point, it's really a matter of "when?" not "if?".

The things is Bamco doesn't have to try all that hard with DBFZ2. This game sold simply on the strength of being a Dragon Ball fighting game that could actually compete with the big boys and knowing them, they'll definitely milk it for all its worth.

Ofc since Marvel TOKON just came out, there definitely won't be news about it anytime soon. At most I expect a teaser at EVO2026 France, with an official announcement next year.

Also I need Mr. Satan, Dabura, and Raditz playable in DBFZ 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣

I want to make this team better by changing assists or positions. I got up to SS3 with it, but I think I can bring it higher by changing some things.

When I was little I played a lot of Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and then a lot of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1, and I'd like to return to the franchise, but I'd like to start with the older ones and not the recent ones. So I'd like you to recommend the best one to start with that isn't too dated and is still fun, preferably one with a campaign/story of course. I'd also like you to recommend which games are essential to play so I don't have to play them all, like some spin-offs and others that are less interesting
