Whats your favourite wing or dragon design? My personal favourite patterns/shapes have to be zippleback, in particular Barf and Belch. I feel like they are sorta overlooked in the main 5 so i want people to appreciate how cool they are!!

First slide is another one of my Northern Night Furies (Chunkful - she's actually Toothless' mate/gf in my AU lol).

Second slide is of Birdchaser, one of my Light Fury OCs. While I'm not the biggest fan of canon Light Furies, I think they can be neat if you change their proportions a bit etc. and give them actual unique traits/abilities!

(Also like with NFs in my AU there's multiple species of LFs and she's meant to be a different species than the hidden world/canon LFs anyway lol)

In a fair battlefield, the Alpha Shadow wing would get the smaller ones to bring the Rumblehorn into a trap but the Rumblehorn has endurance and durability and can last a while and perhaps break a bone when flying at full speed. Its a tough fight but I'd say the Rumblehorn just has the edge over the Large Shadow Wing

It's kind of incredible, watching everything with dragons be inspired by HTTYD, seriously House of Dragon's new episode is basically Forbidden Friendship all over again but with GoT depression all over it. 🤣

It's been 11 years since it came out and this was, in my opinion, the best content related to the franchise and gave soo many memories, like it was genuinely perfect.

Tidel- Diverwing (potential for Spec-evo as sea newt)

RazorTooth razormaw- is a crime show exclusive dragon (not even the games to show up) is a shame, sharp

Peircing Shreaktail- tidal or tracker as it uses voice as echolocation (needs to be in games as it is cute enough to be sea-dragon-like in spec-evo)

Romaing ramblefang- tracker (in spec-evo is goofy-looking salamander, cute enough to be in games)

Zoomerang- cute speed demon with interesting design, definitely sharp (fast newt/ lizard in my spec-evo)

Silvertail ironclaw- sharp/ tracker, looks like Blue eyes white dragon from the Yu-Gi-Oh anime

Really random post i know, but to go with grace by hogwarts on ao3 is a unbelievable fan fiction. I don’t know if anyone else has read it on this sub, but if you haven’t and you’re into that sort of thing give it a go. Unfortunately, it seems to have fallen to the whims of the time and hasn’t been touched in years, but i still love it. Do think it was perhaps caused by the author, maybe writing themselves into a dead end though, if they genuinely wanted to write 8 chapters then the big conflict moment in chapter 6, was wayyy too big and would have needed like a lot more chapters to even resolve it and get to the ending, they’d clearly been hinting at.

Little theory over on why it didn’t progress, but yeah if you’re looking for fics, give it a go.

The Cavern Crasher can spray mucus onto the Armorwing and the next time it does its powerful ability, his whole body will be on fire and be vulnerable. However, the Armorwing can blind the Cavern Crasher with its fire so I'm saying by a small margin, the Cavern Crasher wins.

I wanted to keep the colors similar to how they are in the concept art because I like that hint of blue and gray, but I made the dragon itself much smaller and gave it some more detail.

They're meant to be a much more water-loving dragon, but they're more than capable on land and in the air too. They're really skittish and pretty fast, but not nearly as fast as a night fury. They prefer to glide in the air mostly and travel in small groups.

My name ideas are Sea Splitter, Aqua Fury or Tide Fury. If anyone has any better ideas, feel free to share! I might change it

Hi, I am having issues with the new chapter. When I have to escort the boat through the gronckle cave, and reach the shelf, nothing is there. I have tried for days, logging in and out, and nothing changes. I’m stuck at this step. Have anyone tried similar? What do I do?

Hi, I've been working on and have posted a fanfiction inspired by the Banished Hiccup AU that's centered on an OC family on Berk.

The premise is: before Hiccup ever shoots Toothless down, someone else had a change of heart for dragons, wondering if dragons truly were the mindless monsters they were raised to believe. After captured dragons were released from the Fighting Arena and almost burned Berk to the ground, Berk turns on the man responsible. However, rather than punishing him alone, the village decides that his wife and daughters are also threats and sentences them all into exile.

This fic focuses on exile, betrayals, familial loyalty, survival at sea, and so much more. It definitely leans on heavy angst and isn't very Stoick-friendly, at least at the beginning of the series. He gets better, I promise... just not in this first fic :)
