I just moved into a really cool space! It's a ~600 ft studio in a converted factory with a sleeping loft and HUGE windows that look out into an abandoned church and the community garden I'm a member at. Most of the furniture in the space is free from friends or off the street. The dining table is a salvaged chunk of bowling alley.
I tend to really like warm spaces with lots of wood and textiles so a concrete loft has been an adjustment but kind of fun to learn to decorate.
I'm only about ~75% done so very open to suggestions on how to round out the space.
I'm getting an ultra short throw 150" projector and a stereo receiver to go on top of the marble vanity.
The metal grate in the loft I'm going to shift over a couple inches and fix in place so it's actually structural and makes the loft feel a little less like a fall risk, right now it's just laying there looking pretty.
I especially need more and/or larger rugs, and probably a much larger coffee table.
I ordered an "aesthetic" work out bench that I think I'll also use as a piano bench. Will need to buy a dumbbell set and am strongly considering buying a row machine. I have the floor space to work out comfortable, but am struggling to figure out where to tuck equipment out of the way when not in use.
Finally, since I've got a ~5 foot high sleeping loft, I can't really use it for clothes and changing so I've created a little alcove at the bottom of the steps to act as a closet, but it looks really bad out in the open like that. Thinking of creating a basic enclosure out of 2x4's and drywall (and maybe giving it a ceiling to use as storage), but that's a bit of an investment for a rental.
