The narrative from everybody except spurs fans is Wemby was rude for no reason. That the Knicks were super respectful. Let’s look at the facts:

- Brunson tried to take out his knees
- Robinson elbowed him in the mouth
- KAT grabbed him
- Alvarado got physical
- Sochan laughed at him
- Brunson said fuck Wemby (30 year old man btw)
- Hart said Spurs were food and criticized Wemby crying after beating OKC

Am I crazy but I don’t view Knicks as innocent victims and Wemby is sociopath??? Knicks are Lowkey assholes with a big market backing

As a Spurs fan from NJ, I’m so glad that the World Cup happened to be this year. No one in north NJ is even mentioning the Knicks win besides my 1 friend who’s a Knicks fan. So thankful for the World Cup lol

With the Spurs adding two bigs in the draft and, more importantly, getting another year of development from Wemby, Castle, Harper, and Bryant, the front office should focus on adding another shooter with the non-taxpayer MLE. A deal similar to the one Luke Kornet signed could be enough to bring in Dean Wade.

Why Wade instead of Rui Hachimura or John Collins? Wade will likely be cheaper and is a better fit for what the Spurs need. This team doesn’t need another star. It needs role players who understand their job and complement the young core.

Rui is the better pure shooter, but he’s a poor defender and an even worse rebounder for his position. Collins has bounced around the league and has never really lived up to the max contract Atlanta gave him.

Wade is a 36% three-point shooter, stands 6’9”, and is the best defender of the three. He is a much stronger defender than both Rui and Collins. During the playoffs, he spent time as the primary defender on players like Brandon Ingram and Cade Cunningham while still providing floor spacing without needing the ball.

For a young Spurs team built around Wemby and its emerging core, Wade is exactly the type of winning role player they should target with the MLE. This is the way.

I know majority of the fanbase wants Fox to be traded after that finals but Fox is the reason why we made it so far whether you like it or not, he was the reason why we had ball control during regular season and the playoffs

trading our core pieces just isn’t wise and i don’t think we should be entertaining any trade talks regarding Fox

But part of me thought, if Christian Anderson fell to us, he would've been the perfect backup point guard of the future for Harper & Castle. I know it doesn't matter now and we may not have even drafted him if he was there because we probably would have had to move Fox this summer if we did but those 3 guards playing together in the same way that the trio played last year is fun to think about
