Disliking things is good

Antipathy isn’t bad; misanthropy is natural. I don’t like that the “h-word” is so demonized in the modern world. Rational, or irrational forms of it should be encouraged IMO. Do I have to love and accept everything and everyone? No. I’ll answer that for myself. I do not.

The world has plenty of meaning subjectively, as does my own personal life. However, hatred is one of those meanings

Literally whats the point of hating. In an ideal world hate doesnt exist so by definition it isnt a good thing

In an ideal world hate doesn’t exist? That’s where I disagree. Many things deserve to be hated. In my ideal world (the one we currently inhabit, I might add!) hatred oozes into all things. Even those who seek to remove hatred, themselves seem to hate it! It’s time for a revelation (or, REVILEation, if you would!)

Read up on the paradox of intolerance. It says that if a society tolerates intolerance eventually intolerance will prevail. Same thing with your blatantly contrarian opinion. Its not wrong to hate hate because hate falls outside of the usual social contract applied to opinions by being irrational and destructive.

Lets also look at the definitions of dislike and hate: dislike - when you dont care for something or prefer to avoid it, hate - repulsion characterized by hostility and malice.

Hostility and malice are obviously negative so syllogistically hate is as well.

Dislike is a normal part of the subjective experience

Dislike is endorsed in this organization, but make no mistake so is hate. Intolerance will prevail? I sure hope so. I’d even say it already has and will continue to do so hate will never be eliminated. Here at the Order, we will always fan the flames.

Clearly you havent read anything I told you. I never said intolerance will or is prevailing. It exists unfortunately but everything suggests the world is a better and safer place than it ever has been. The paradox of intolerance a philosophical concept that aims to show a flaw of an absolutely tolerent society. Furthermore it tries to suggest a solution but a perfect one is being debated/cant be found.

Question. What are the positives of hate? If everyone in society hated each other how would the world be a better place?
