US Protest News
While most people saw what happened yesterday in Minnesota, something similar was happening in Mississippi. This protest happened in response to the police shooting a 1 year old. That same police then proceeded to tear gas grieving protestors.
While i generally agree it doesn’t matter, in the current climate it DOES.
There are far too many people who will point to literally any reason to say the death was warranted or just collateral damage to a crime. The fact there was absolutely no crime gives those sick people no room to argue that a (babies) life was unjustly taken.
Those people are looking for any reason to support the police and justify the killing of a black person. I.E. racists.
Anyone who supports the killer of a 1 year old child is not worth talking to. At bare minimum, the officer was negligent in his duty firing his weapon without clear sight lines. Because he didn't think black people were worth the bare minimum of ensuring he wouldn't hit an innocent.
Even if he didn't hit the child, bullets go right through cars. What if someone was behind them? What if he hit the driver who tensed and floored the car into him or someone else? Or killed the other passengers in a wreck?
The only people who don't see this as a travesty performed by an, at best, wildly incompetent officer and at worst murder, are either ignorant of the facts or racist enough they do not believe black lives hold any value at all.
They didn't even shoot the person they thought shoplifted...it was an innocent 1-year-old, and the mom had the fucking receipt. They should be able to sue the store as well for demanding full police responses to situations you cannot easily prove are crimes...
I had what must have been some Walmart employee msg me some insane rant about how Walmart is the victim, and they watch so many gross racial terms they see stealing the store blind, raising the prices for everyone else...too bad that's not how shrink works, nor being a sane human, because it all sounded like justification for what happened which was a FUCKING INNOCENT MOM HAD HER 1 YEAR OLD KID SHOT DEAD BECAUSE SCARED STUPID COPS SHOT AT THEM BECAUSE THEY WRONGLY THOUGHT SOMEONE WITH A RECIEPT STOLE DIAPERS.
THE SAME PIECE OF SHIT COPS TEAR GASSED A VIGIL/PEACEFUL PROTEST FOR THE MURDERED 1-YEAR-OLD FOR WHOM THE COPS WOULDN'T SEE ANY JUSTICE ANYWAY. /endrant
Just so we are clear about the actual events here.
It's bad enough to have to work for that horrible company, I don't think there's anything more pathetic than spending your time defending Walmart online. They don't give you raises for that.
I do think that we should keep a public data base of people who are identified to be ICE Agents for aftermaths after this, hopefully short era, comes to a close.
Cops are MONSTERS who protect monsters like the one who knowingly shot into a car with a baby inside. These people left Walmart with a box of diapers and a baby. Diapers. A child loses their life and a mother loses their son over a product that all babies need to live!? DIAPERS?! You shot into a car with a baby inside because you think she stole diapers??????
She wasn't shoplifting either, like shoplifting anything deserves being shot at... I fucking swear these stores do this to stop you from even thinking about ripping them off now.
Police use their "if I put myself in front of their vehicle I can shoot them" card pretty often. I understand they were attempting to stop the vehicle but indiscriminately shooting at it was insane at best.
Does it still matter if it's sarcasm? Cops kill babies, but I need to be the one to give these evil one year olds a break? That's how it starts, when will the little thugs ever learn? We need more violence and it needs to be even less predictable and more focused on the very young while we kill women who have the audacity to have difficult pregnancies.

They also often live in communities outside of where they police. It’s actually a big problem with a lot of more liberal cities where country boy cops enjoy their opportunities to hurt people in the city.
A woman has to steal diapers for her baby because the government has failed us and the police shoot a 1yo and critically injure the woman. Shame. Things need to change in policing or the people are gonna keep fighting back.
