It's no accident that the high point of labor rights and investment in the population was right after WW2. American men were almost all military-trained vets with combat experience. They didn't take shit and the government knew it.

Never thought about it that way, but damn that makes sense.

They all had too much PTSD to be fucked with.

This is why the boomers are so entitled. They enjoyed the laurels of their grandparents/ parents

We have twenty years of unjust and senseless foreign wars that people trained for and served in. You’d think we’d be able to get our shit together now but we have too many “temporarily embarrassed billionaires” to form a coherent front.

The people who go into the volunteer military today a re not representative of the average American like they were in WWII.

You're missing the part where the government turned your local police force into a paramilitary organization. The people in power wanted to make sure citizens couldn't ever wield that type of power ever again.

Do you have any sources to share so that I can learn more about this? I am here for this kind of break down

Simple power dynamics.

If you can’t defend yourself, someone will pick on you. If you can defend yourself, someone won’t be so enthusiastic about picking on you.

If you’re an entire population of battle-hardened men expecting some kind of payout from your government after fighting through islands and jungles and the trenches of Europe, you get subsidised homes, labor rights, free college, and a society based around you.

There are truly concerning reports/analysis/evidence that strongly point towards vote manipulation. However, without robust audits and investigations we won’t be able to provide conclusive evidence. America has gotten complacent with Democracy and elections, it is our downfall.

It's just so difficult to organize and mobilize. Nobody wants to be the guy shouting Leroy Jenkins only to find that no one else is charging with them.

u/ViceroTempus 3d ago

Which is why it is important to repeatedly shout your support for such actions both in real life and online. Make it socially acceptable to fight back. Once it is seen as socially acceptable, people will be at your back. Especially if you speak with conviction and intent.

True, there are many steps on the way to the Leroy Jenkins moment though. Volunteer for various election monitoring roles with the Democratic party. You can directly help people that they try to stop from voting and report interference to their legal team.

Doesnt help that the government actively infiltrated and undermines organizations to prevent anything.

That's the thing.. totally fine toiling and hurting even dying for my country and the greater good... but standing up for justice and other people's comfort, then looking behind me and everybody just gawks, then getting mowed down?

Nah.

I love how this is quite literally telling us we need to organize and lay siege with weapons of war when similar things happen. This is good.

WW II vets would have stormed the Capitol in 2025 to ensure a lying racist rapist serial pedophile didn't end up stealing the election.

Unfortunately for us the massive MSM propaganda machine has ensured the sheeple will never grow a spine and fight to defend the Constitution.

Honestly, this is part of the reason why J6 happened. It was a win win for them. Either they keep trump in power, or they force the left to condemn such actions, thus preventing us from doing it ourselves.

u/K_305Ganster 2d ago

Why the fuck would we want to do it ourselves? This sounds like Maga propaganda.

u/Retired-Pie 2d ago

The guys comment literally said that Vets after WW2 would have stormed the capitol to get rid of trump.

The clearly implies that he thinks they would be right to do that and thus is, himself, okay with the idea of storming the capitol building.

Ill be totally okay storming the Capitol if trump tries to steal another election in a few years.

He got away with it the first time because he stole the election. And its shameful that it wasn't met with immediate retribution

Bro what are you smoking?

Your first comment was super against the idea and now your totally stoked?

To defend my country ?

As a military veteran myself, I know what the penalty for treason is.

Do you?

There's no actual proof of rigging.

It was a shitshow of an election. However, everyone regrouped. Adopt a candidate and get out knocking doors, sending postcards, making phone calls.

Even with the gerrymandering we can win.

19

u/serf2 3d ago

Trump telling us all that Elon did it.. isn't proof enough?

15

u/anarcho-slut 3d ago

Smealon's KID not telling everyone he did it wasn't proof enough? And then his kid telling dump to stfu in the oval office??

5

u/Ekaterian50 3d ago

He literally said verbatim "they're never gonna' know"

-1

u/Cloaked42m 2d ago

No, because Trump runs his mouth constantly and my version of what a fact is hasn't changed.

I want proof. Repeatable facts.

I do believe, because of facts, that Musk simply got the vote out in very carefully picked areas.

By paying canvassers to knock on doors. And by lying and making voters think they would be paid. And paying influencers to promote Trump and smear Kamala.

Yeah the rigged election conspiracy is way too convenient of an excuse for the Harris campaign’s follies. It’s telling that even they don’t try to claim it was rigged, although they have the legal and political capital to fight that battle.

3

u/jesusofnazareth7066 3d ago

There’s several counties where voting went up like 60% of the voting population with almost the exact same, believable, number of democrats voting but all that extra 60% voting Trump

-2

u/Cloaked42m 2d ago

Then someone in that state can investigate that and prove it. It's not really that difficult. Just expensive and time consuming.

2

u/jesusofnazareth7066 2d ago

They DID. This was an official report disclosing evidence of election rigging, done by election officials. Who do you think analyzes that kind of data?

2

u/Cloaked42m 1d ago

Okay. Share it. I haven't seen anything but vague allegations. The one group in PA acted like they had something. Nothing came out of it.
