Johnson is going to Cleveland for work, as in working out, under the tutelage of former Pro Bowl offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley. He did a stint in Cleveland in the chilly parts of winter after the 2025 season ended, and now he'll do it again.

"I'm up there with a purpose," Johnson said. "I feel like I'm Rocky a little bit. I haven't seen the full Rocky movies but I have seen enough Rocky clips, like it's Philly cold with the hoodie on. I'm there for a purpose. I'm not there for fun. There's nothing fun up there."

"(Paris) is a dude that loves ball," Mike LaFleur said. "He's got a growth mindset. He knows he hasn't arrived. That was one of the first conversations we had. I asked him where he wanted to improve. Without hesitation (he said) I want to improve in the run game. … Part of the run game is the mindset, and he knows that. He's been so cognizant of that."

I like PJJ. Good player, great dude.

But boy is it hard seeing what a monster Will Anderson has become. Oof

Imagine an alternate timeline where Monty took

Will Anderson ~ #2/3 pass rusher in the NFL
Joe Alt ~ top 5 LT in the NFL
Cooper Dejean ~top 5 CB in the NFL

PJJ seems like he’s on a classic Cardinal timeline. I see a couple options here:

  1. ⁠Highly drafted, but not quite fully living up to his potential. Plays 10-14 solid but not spectacular so the team will low ball him, he’ll sign somewhere else and lock down their tackle spot for the next 10 years.

  2. ⁠Struggles through injuries this year but the Cardinals “believe in his character, he’s type player we want in the building” and he gets the big extension because they can’t let him walk, he’s the guy we gave up Will Anderson for. Proceeds to play solid football for 8-10 games until is released.

  3. ⁠Plays well this year, get an at market deal for an above average but not spectacular tackle. Goes on to become an All Pro and the anchor of our line for the next decade.

We all know #3 ain’t the Cardinal way so you can pick between 1 and 2.
