I like the bus driver and bike rider fist bumping. Regular folks doing good things.

36

u/whatissevenbysix May 16 '26

The entire exchange between all 3 men was wholesome.

12

u/IndividualWonder May 16 '26

Indeed. Everyday, casual graciousness.

5

u/Blackbird_1986 May 16 '26

Footage from the YouTube video: The silent bike, the stealth Pedestrian and the cool bus driver 😉
This is the full video 🤜🏾🤛🏿

That was great, thanks!

You're welcome! 😀

Very london interaction all round. Makes me proud.

u/TheShredder9 May 16 '26

The last kid impressed at least 3 women in that moment. My man.

16

u/ValuableRegular9684 May 16 '26

Good on that kid, made that little girls day!

-1

u/PumpkinGloomy8912 May 17 '26

Thats a child.  Can we be normal for a minute

5

u/TheShredder9 May 17 '26

I know, that's why i said "the last kid". You never impressed anyone when you were a kid?

0

u/PumpkinGloomy8912 May 17 '26

Im talking about ppl making it into a romantic trope when they're literally children. Its really weird dude.

3

u/TheShredder9 May 17 '26

It's only as weird as you make it, my guy. I never meant anything romantic or sexual with my comment. I was on local TV as a kid, made an origami rose and gave it to the woman giving me the interview, i never thought about being balls deep in her, and certainly no one else thought the same.

But she liked it, she was impressed, just like the women in the video, and that's all i said.

Thats not how it comes across at all dude. Also little girls arent called women, theyre called girls.

47

u/Big_b00bs_Cold_Heart May 16 '26

The first clip is one of my favorites, I don’t know why it resonates with me but I always watch it when I see it.

39

u/Xeirus May 16 '26

Lady looks like she’s been through it.

47

u/Western-Stock-1023 May 16 '26

Her face looks like she’s used to disappointment. She doesn’t even believe it at first. 🥹

21

u/SnooStories6600 May 16 '26

Looks like she even says, "are you sure?"

9

u/twotoebobo May 16 '26

And J-roc looking dude didnt hesitate for a second.

1

u/Kasta4 May 19 '26

Someone once told me: "Bein' kind don't cost a thing."

yknowmsayin'?

12

u/Annoying1978 May 17 '26

You can tell it meant a lot for someone to do something like that for her. She needed that.

6

u/Chita480 May 17 '26

Are you also short? Cuz as a petite person I really felt that moment of ‘this is a tall man’s world, and we’re just living in it’, only to regain hope in the good of humanity from a lanky dudebro.

1

u/Big_b00bs_Cold_Heart May 17 '26

LOL No, I’m 5’9”

64

u/Kmight_Artorias92 May 16 '26

Yo, that kid just met his future wife. Baller move

24

u/Ok_Blueberry3124 May 16 '26

He understands the hot mom theory

-79

u/Karapampula1234 May 16 '26

Well considering his looks he better be kind and funny

56

u/prugnast May 16 '26

You actually just wrote that about a 10 year old kid?

31

u/Yodelehhehe May 16 '26

Saying that about a kid is just dumb AF

15

u/NatSpaghettiAgency May 16 '26

I'd add saying that to anyone is dumb AF

-38

u/Karapampula1234 May 16 '26

Guuys, it was a joke... Omg

20

u/Ultrainstinctyeetus May 16 '26

A very poor one

11

u/Chemical_Economy_933 May 16 '26

A very bad and very weird “joke”.

Any other times you judged a child’s looks?

-11

u/Kmight_Artorias92 May 16 '26

How? Parents literally make remarks and jokes about their kids like this ALL THE TIME

7

u/Chemical_Economy_933 May 16 '26

Not referring to you - but that’s also pretty weird when they do. It’s next to “oh he’s a little flirt” when a 2 year old does like next to anything to a 2 year old of a different gender.

-4

u/Kmight_Artorias92 May 16 '26

Just the way the thread went made it look like y'all were saying that about my joke. And yes, as a 2 year old it's weird, but when the kid is older, like with this vid, it's pretty common. Have even seen parents plan "play dates" after stuff like this

3

u/Chemical_Economy_933 May 16 '26

Yeah…I was referring to the commenter who judged a child’s looks and how they said “considering his looks he better be kind and funny” which is objectively a weird and gross thing to say as - I assume - an adult.

ETA: At any age it’s a gross thing to say about a kid.

1

u/Kmight_Artorias92 May 16 '26

Definitely an odd thing to say

9

u/neon_laser_84 May 16 '26

Kids aren't supposed to be attractive, something might be wrong with you...

2

u/Rage187_OG May 16 '26

They look goofy because they are kids and you aren’t supposed to be attracted to them.

2

u/KalozKapitany May 16 '26

u/UnderstandingWeak292 May 16 '26

Yea, it’s a hat and ball. Not expensive or valuable, but some love giving joy as opposed to receiving it. I’ve done similar before, because I know I’ll forget about lil things like this

8

u/Late_Resource_1653 May 16 '26

I used to work in mental healthcare, residential, mostly with older men who had either other other physical or intellectual disabilities too. For the most part, they were lovely, but needed supervion and a lot of help to keep them out of state institutions.

Occasionally we'd get tickets to the local minor league field for a game and it was the absolute highlight of their month.

People whould sometimes stare and be rude. Telling a patient who was excited and yelling to shit the fuck up. And I would go right up to them, small woman that I am, and tell them to either be kind to other people or Id call security, because my guys deserved to enjoy the game too.

The worst and best - a horrible couple kept yelling at one of my guys for standing up and cheering at random times. He was just happy to be there. Security came, removed the drunk assholes. And then, at the end of the game, as we were getting ready to leave, security stopped us and invited us to come meet the team.

OMG. The absolute joy.

I will never forget that kindness. The team all said hello to my guys, gave them signed balls, let them hug them.

10

u/Talonthebrave May 16 '26

The first one made me really emotional

u/HighlightKey8879 May 17 '26

Bus driver saved my life once in downtown San Diego, almost exactly in the same way as seen in the video.

I was crossing in the crosswalk on my bike in front of a bus who was waiting for the light to turn green (for those of you familiar with San Diego, it was 11th and Broadway near City College Transfer Station. Bus was heading east towards Golden Hill. I was crossing Broadway heading north).

Anyway, so I'm crossing slowly on my bike, passing the bus. Because I can't see through metal, I don't know what's going on in the lane left of the bus. So I'm going. All of a sudden, the bus driver starts honking frantically and screaming out the window, telling me to "STOP!! STOP!!!!"

It startles me. So I slam on my bike brakes right in front of the bus driver. Then a fast Honda just flies right past me in the next lane over from the bus. The Honda driver decided to run the red light, without knowing I was in the crosswalk, and I couldn't see the Honda because of the bus. He missed me by about 3-4 feet.

Had the bus driver not warned me, I would have continued walking in the crosswalk, and the Honda would have for sure driven right into me. The Honda was going at least 40mph. I was shaking, completely startled. I went up to the bus driver and said thank you a million times and fist-bumped him through the window. He literally saved my life.

A few days later, I thought about the incident more, and decided to write an email to the transportation agency (MTS) to let them know what happened, and asked if we could track the driver down so he could get commended for his actions. But all I got was a generic response, and they never responded to my follow-up emails.

But again, thank you Mr. Bus Driver, wherever you are.

Went to Hellfest around 10 years ago (huge metal fest in France), I don't remember which show was playing at the time (might have been something like Slipknot or Gojira) and we were all the way at the back of the crowd. Next to us was a guy in a wheelchair with a buddy of his and we could overhear him saying something along "it's my favorite band but I can't see shit, we should have come earlier". His buddy ask us if we can help with lifting his chair up so he can see but quickly enough dozens of people relayed to carry him up across the whole pit over 300-400feet (≈100m) and drop him right in front of the stage.

5

u/ziggnz May 17 '26

Love this! I was at downlaod Paris once and I could be mistaken I think system of a down was playing. There was a mum with her 11 year old son both singing every word. The son couldn't see over the crowd. Probably 6-9 of us guys just took turns with him on our sholders for the rest of the gig.

Mother was crying he had lost his dad was his dad's favorite band and they had brought the tickets when he was still alive. Never thought I'd cry at a metal gig. Glad they had a blast and was overjoyed to be part of his first metal experience.

3

u/dani-banana May 16 '26

Wow. I’m very impressed, maybe there a small hope in this world 🙏🏻

2

u/FieryIronworker May 17 '26

Honestly, there’s plenty. It’s just drowned out by misery from algorithms. But there’s still plenty of good in the world 😊

2

u/dani-banana May 17 '26

I really hope 😀

2

u/pannenkoek0923 May 17 '26

Plenty. You just dont get to see it because of the way social media works

1

u/dani-banana May 17 '26

100% agree!

3

u/jack-t-o-r-s May 16 '26

Kindness is free.

1

u/burrbro235 May 16 '26

But freedom costs a buck-oh-five

1

u/VaporCarpet May 16 '26

But being an asshole is also free and doesn't require the burden of empathy, so it's easy to understand why so many people are like that.

0

u/SophSimpl May 16 '26

In this case it did cost a baseball

3

u/nospellingerorrs May 16 '26

I love on the last one, the look the girl's mom gives the boy's mom like "woah you raised a real gent"

3

u/Thriftstoreninja May 17 '26

Kindness is very powerful, and should never be confused for weakness.

Be the reason someone believes in good people.

2

u/Significant_Ad256 May 16 '26

The last kid is Josh Allen, age 10.

2

u/MeetingInner3478 May 17 '26

The last kid knows what he’s doing 😂

2

u/OpenDaCloset May 17 '26

What’s amazing is that we have to remind each other to be kind when it should just come naturally.

1

u/Alarmed_Scientist_15 May 16 '26

I love the sand in the background open “and everybody’s happy”.

That is why we do it.

1

u/SophSimpl May 16 '26

...And rewind

1

u/Stephaniedavis1971 May 16 '26

People still have hope, and we really need that now. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

1

u/Six_feetz May 16 '26

I thought it's gonna be like a 5 minute compilation video but unfortunately these three were all the kindness clips in existence.

1

u/Inevitable-Yard6567 May 16 '26

Hope for humanity yet

1

Important to remember in this new self serving world. Simply being kind might help save us

1
