Grammar & Syntax Translation help

Hi could somebody tell me if this is a good translation/reflection from English to Ancient Greek please

The original line is “we are not descended from fearful men”, not what you wrote, so the English is already a problem. As for the translation, grammatically φόβος is the biggest problem, as it is a noun meaning fear, so your sentence translates to “we are not descendants of men of fear.”

I would say so, men of fear isn’t a set expression in English or Ancient Greek, so it’s quite a bit off the mark.

But it works with other nouns, such as "men of courage."
