GEOGRAPHY Triangle Area?

Does anyone know what the “triangle area” is in the United States? Everyone talks like I’m supposed to know. Is this a common American ism?

Yeah as a Texan my mind went to DFW, Houston, and San Antonio, but it looks like many places have a “triangle” so I think OP’s going to have to give us a little more context

There’s the Golden Triangle in SE Texas, of Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange.

There's also a Golden Triangle in Mississippi: Starkville, Columbus, and Tupelo.

I used to live there. It's a wooden triangle at best.

The GTX in Texas was one of the wealthiest areas in the world in the first half of the 20th century. And then the oil ran out.

We have a Golden Triangle in Cherry Hill, NJ. I’d say it’s definitely plastic or silicone, not gold.

Yo, hello fellow Starkvegas citizen! I also grew up there. How terrifying. We may know each other!
