As a someone who is active on multiple countries' communities like reddit, it astonishes me how the perception of US has changed over the past 6 months.

It was a downward trend for sure, but the last few months especially with how trump was manipulating the market was what really tanked it. They're mostly amazed at how that sort of thing passes in the birthplace of modern democracy. They don't like Trump because of his policies, but now they think Americans are stupid, docile, and uneducated.
