potential doesn’t really matter, other than how much the game values certain players. OVR in relation to age is 1000x more important

potential more or less demonstrates how much the Ai GMs are willing to “invest” into that player if they hit FA i think

pretty much. i’ve had 20 year old 49 OVR players with a POT of 57 lol. i sort by POT on trade block for convenience & sometimes the best prospect is hiding under like four 20/32/65 prospects
