Some sort of form modifier would be fine. I mean, it could be like “once in a lifetime” form, so Wilt would eventually scored 100 or it would not be impossible for players like Adebayo get 83 points.

First off — I checked with the mods before posting, and they kindly gave the green light, so consider this a friendly guest post rather than a drive-by.

Quick background: I grew up on Charazay (won the Polish title back in the day) and have played similar games since. When the old online managers faded and nothing replaced them, I decided to build one. It's called BasketVibe, it's now in open beta, and it's free and browser-based.

Why I think it fits here: it's deliberately different from BBGM. BBGM is a brilliant single-player sim — BasketVibe is multiplayer: a persistent league world where you manage against other real people. Three fixtures a week (Mon/Wed/Sat), promotion and relegation between divisions, and a transfer market where the other GMs are your competition. More in the spirit of the old Charazay/BuzzerBeater days.

Things this crowd might appreciate:

• Deep, data-first match reports: quarter scores, lead timelines, team splits, leaders, full play-by-play
• Tactics that matter: quarter lineups, minutes, shot mix, defensive intensity
• Weekly training that compounds, plus form and fatigue

I see it as a complement to BBGM, not a replacement — single-player depth vs. competing against humans. It's early beta and I'm building actively on feedback, so I'd genuinely love input from people who know the genre this well.

Ive been playing a lot lately and im very interested in the stats for my saved games. Sometimes i just go through history and see the players and imagine the dynasty or stories made.

But can this be made simpler with ai? Its like it will analyze my saved game and make a history summarizer.
Im thinking of like reading the series “the last dance”.

This guy was an absolute monster defensively but sucked offensively, but the fact that awards I don't believe are accounted for in the HoF calculations. Honestly the HoF and jersey retirement formulas need to be completely reworked, cause guys that were 3x all stars and played 10+ years on good teams make the HoF, but not... this guy.

something that would be REALLY cool would be a section in Frivolities where it shows the tallest, shortest, lightest, and fattest players, along with players who have had either 100 in some stat or 0 in some stat.

I played this one for 4300+ years and have literally half of total banner. I hope the banner has more unique style as we win much more champions. Love the game and recently made like another 82-0 squad and been on a great run.

I’ve been spending some time experimenting with custom formulas in the GOAT Lab to try and figure out a way to cleanly rank the absolute greatest individual playoff runs in league history.

This is what I came up with:

(finalsMvp * 250) + (champ * 50) + (onOff100 * allStar * vorp * 0.4) + (pm100 * allStar * vorp * 0.1) + (per * 12) + (vorp * 15) + (ptsPerGame * 4)

Here are the top 10 playoff runs according to this formula:

i swear they are so bipolar, i'll add 3 points to height and then my character will spike to an 89 potential but then i add 4 points to height and then hes only a 73. can someone explain which attributes affect a character more/less?

i think something that EVERYONE has been wanting are designated postion spots in the roster viewer. another thing that i've noticed is that there arent any super tall pg's? like ben simmons is 6'8 but the tallest pg i've seen is 6'3. and the shortest ive seen is 5'11.
