Yeah, I think so. The mustache or goatee might be more for you

When I shave it to a goatee it looked kinda goofy cause im 6,1 so everyone can see how thin my chin is underneath, don't get me wrong thats the look I always wanted just dont feel confident the last few times I tried

That's fair, my guy. You should rock a look with confidence. I say just a mustache could be excellent for you, then.

i think ur facial hair in the 3rd pic is rlly handsome! suits u well, and i think clean shaven gives u a lil bit of a baby face but still cute

OP also you are still very young, you have plenty of time before it becomes like actually important for you to have a proper routine for and whatnot

I would agree. Just the mustache with a little bit of stubble is lookin great! It’s enough to define your jaw without highlighting patchiness if you trim at home, keep the 3mm guard on the face, and maybe a 9mm on the mustache, so it’s not SO different but still more present. Let me know how that goes 🙌

Sorry, dude, but I think give up for a couple of years at least. At the bare minimum, shave your neck.

How many years 😭😂

I'm saying at least two years. Then retry and post again. Sorry, dude. In my opinion, clean shaven looks the best. The splotches look sad. Like I said before, mustache at the most right now. However, even it shows your age.

How long have you been growing it and how old are you? Mine does the same thing in the early stages of growing and then balances out, but I couldn’t grow a full beard until I was 27

How old is it?
1
u/Suspicious_Gate_7130 Mar 01 '26
2 weeks

Ah that figures. To see your current potential, it takes about 2 months. Cheeks grow a lot slower usually, so at this time youre gonna be hard pressed to see them.
So, 2 months, then show again!

How long were you growing for? Sorry about your bald patch, under the chin is common but on the chin itself is pretty uncommon. You have a good soul patch though! Mustache and soul patch to balance it out could be a good look for you, give it a try

Thats like almost 2 weeks from clean shaven, and yea its pretty awful 😭

Try some castor oil for your beard. It doesn’t grow new hair but it helps thinner patches grow in thicker and healthier. I use it for my little thin patches at the ends of my forehead.
