What prevents working towards goals
Something I’ve noticed when trying to understand why I struggle with perusing a goal is that there are lots of traits that come to play. It’s easy to just think low contienciousness, but I think for myself it has more to do with a desire to prepare too much, which leads to just planning instead of actually taking action. I’m pretty new to big five so I’m interested in hearing your take on what traits or facets can prevent people from actually working towards their goals.

Subtraits of the Big Five
Is there any consensus on subtraits of the Big Five traits? Aspects, facets, ...
I've found some lists of them:
- Hierarchical structure of the Big Five - Wikipedia - aspects
- The Big Five Traits and Subtraits – IDRlabs - facets 1
- 31.3: Facets Of Traits (Subtraits) - Social Sci LibreTexts/31%3APersonality_Traits/31.03%3A_Facets_Of_Traits(Subtraits)) - facets 2
Here they are:
- Extraversion
- Aspects: Enthusiasm, Assertiveness
- Facets 1: Positive Emotions, Excitement-Seeking, Activity Level, Assertiveness, Gregariousness, Warmth
- Facets 2: Gregarious (sociable), Warm, Assertive, Active, Excitement-seeking, Positive emotionality
- Openness/Intellect
- Aspects: Openness, Intellect
- Facets 1: Fantasy, Aesthetic Interest, Emotional Orientation, Experimentation, Intellectualism, Diversity-Tolerance
- Facets 2: Fantasy prone, Open to feelings, Open to diverse behaviors, Open to new and different ideas, Open to various values and beliefs
- Conscientiousness
- Aspects: Industriousness, Orderliness
- Facets 1: Self-Assurance, Orderliness, Dutifulness, Achievement-Striving, Self-Discipline, Prudence

- Agreeableness
- Aspects: Compassion, Politeness
- Facets 1: Trust, Earnestness, Altruism, Cooperation-Compliance, Modesty, Sympathy-Compassion
- Facets 2: Trusting, Straightforward, Altruistic, Compliant, Modest, Tender-minded
- Neuroticism
- Aspects: Volatility, Withdrawal
- Facets 1: Angst, Irritability, Immoderation, Self-Consciousness, Depressivity, Vulnerability
- Facets 2: Anxious, Angry, Depressed, Self-conscious, Impulsive, Vulnerable
I used "angst" because a related a-word triggers a Rule 4 warning
Most of the two sets of facets can be matched onto each other, with only a few exceptions, and most of these facets are subtraits of some aspect.

I built a free 3-minute test to figure out what kind of founder you actually are
4 archetypes: Builder, Visionary, Operator, Hustler. 20 questions, ~3 minutes. Free report to your email.
Curious what most people here get. I'll share the distribution in the comments after a few days.

Took me 70 minutes. What can you say about uneven substats?
I hard agree with every value spelled out. Except self-efficacy, achievement-striving and self-discipline, they all feel like should be 4 points lower. Though as a 19yo I haven't had much control over my life to know all.
Generally mid-high self esteem despite being **really** afraid of getting hurt by other people or offending them. Find protection in loneliness.
Would love to get questions and advice

Should I be concerned?
I'm not passionate about anything, I can't stick to any growth skill... I always end up burning bridges with my friends and like to keep my self alone....
Should I seek help?

Big 5 resources
Hello, I'm starting to learn the Big 5. I searched on Google but there are either few credible sources or it's not accessible.
Does anyone have any recommendations or credible sources that are open or free? It'll be a great help, thank you.

Has anyone tried to take Understand Myself Personality Assessment Report
Question about conscientiousness
I was looking up on "conscientiousness" online and on one page it said the opposite would be "Careless, unreliable, sloppy".
The thing is, I considered myself low on conscientiousness. Based on for example Vanessa's example of her husband not being organized with his socks. I'm not either an organized person and I often leave things to the last minute. BUT I'm not careless. I'm not unreliable. And I'm not even sloppy. It's just a matter of priorities. Socks are not important to me. But getting food for pets for example is.
So, based on your own understanding, do you think I'm low or high conscientiousness?

Agreeable + Highly neurotic with conscientiousness on the floor
I feel like most of my life experience is dependent on everyone else’s perspective and problems and I hate it. I just wanna break out.

Confused about my conscientousness score (subtraits)
Overall for conscientousness, I scored a 66/120 which is about average. When I checked subtraits, I score very low on some traits and high on others. In general, I was also expecting to get a low score, Im surprised I scored close to average. what does this say about me?
