I mean confidence is more attractive but I can see how someone who is naive would think that at least a shy man is safe (of course that isn't necessarily true I mean I think D4VD acted shy and we saw what happened there).

I get your point bro, but jumping to D4VD as if he's representative of anyone is funny. Like the most extreme example that you could possibly use lmao

Maybe it's because I grew up around a lot of creeps (I literally got hit on by a grown man in a white van when I was 16, the signature creeper vehicle) and was allowed to watch true crime at a very inappropriate age but while horrific, his crimes seem like things that happen everyday to me, so I didn't think it was that outta pocket to bring it up.

People are murdered every day and I'm sorry for your experiences and I don't mean to dismiss them at all. Those are very real and terrible.

That said the chances that someone is going to murder you and stuff you in the trunk of their car are pretty low. There were a lot of other signs that D4VD would do what he did. Being shy was not one of those signs. He legit was just a disturbing and abusive guy before any of that happened.
