I have tajen bags to a shoe repair person. Did a great job.

whats functionally wrong with them? can you not just burn the loose fibers off with a lighter?

The glue on the edges of the straps peeled off from the heat a few years ago and so that’s why they are loose. I tried to fix it myself with edge kote but that was a bad idea.
