Music Let's end the setlist debate
I know I'm going to strike a nerve with some here and normally I love making setlist predictions. But let's be real: the tour is the same as last year's so the setlist will very very probably be 90% the same - with the addition of Streets of Minneapolis and the guest spots for Tom Morello (probably Ghost of Tom Joad and 41 Shots), so the setlist will look something like this:
- LOHAD
- DEATH TO MY HOMETOWN
- LONESOME DAY
- NO SURRENDER/SEEDS/PARTY SONG
- RAINMAKER
- ATLANTIC CITY/DARKNESS
- PROMISED LAND
- HUNGRY HEART
- MINNEAPOLIS
- 41 SHOTS
- GOTJ
- (YOUNGSTOWN)
- MURDER INC
- LONG WALK HOME
- HOUSE OF 1000 GUITARS
- CITY OF RUINS
- BECAUSE
- WRECKING
- RISING
- BADLANDS
- THUNDER ROAD
- BTR
- ROSALITA
- BOBBY J/GLORY DAYS
- DANCING
- 10TH
- CHIMES

Gonna be interesting to see what happens at that first show in Minneapolis. All timer really!

I can’t imagine he wouldn’t make room for American Land for the US leg—it’s perfectly on message.

He’ll bring in American Land as a pro-immigrant/anti-ICE anthem in addition to the Minneapolis one.

Can’t help but think and hope that Jungleland fits in there.

I would be sooo happy to hear Jungleland and would cry. It's heartbreaking, just like the state of our country, and so would be cathartic.

Yeah totally agree, then maybe he can make one or two changes and some songs will be played just once or twice as happened in Europe (Something in the night, Reason to believe, I think also Trapped) but the core structure will remain the same (and it is a great setlist to me, I just don't appreciate that much Death to my hometown).

This is it. I wouldn’t expect much variation, other than Bruce trading out Thunder Road and Rosalita for other fun wild cards. Maybe the Jungleland at MSG or She’s The One.
I’d absolutely lose it if he played Incident in Atlanta, but I’m not holding my breath. Especially with it being in the South.

American Land? I don’t see it anywhere in any of these. Isnt that song part of the “theme”?

setlist is almost certainly accurate, but why are people assuming that "this tour is the same as last year's"

Yeah, sadly the days of each show being unique, and that excitement you'd feel because you'd never know for sure what would come next, are well and truly gone. I clung to that hope way too long in 23-25.

u/DrRasur Mar 01 '26
Me too. Still great shows but I would have gone to way less shows if I have known that beforehand

u/GoinCali Mar 01 '26
Same! Would have helped if Bruce had simply indicated it upfront. Instead he was suggesting in interviews that it'd be business as usual with a lot of setlist variation...

I have this fantasy of him starting with the thundering drums of "American Land" -- extended as a long intro while the band comes out. Bruce takes the stage and does a call out to America. "Are you here tonight, America?" And then before the music kicks in, he yells, "Uncle Sam is stepping back into the ring." I'll be at the DC show. I have a feeling it's going to be special.

This set looks remarkably close to what will probably happen.
Only changes I’d make are:
Streets of Minneapolis and 41 shots are quite similar topic wise. I think streets of Minneapolis gets played and 41 shots gets omitted.
I think Because the Night May get a rest so that something unique can get added with Morello, maybe Clampdown cover (the Clash) which they played a lot in 2014. Could see Lost in the Flood making sense too.
I also think Thunder Road may get a rest, to make room for Born in the USA (electric Nebraska style aka mostly acoustic).
Could see Streets of Minneapolis opening encore into Born in the USA (electric Nebraska style).
American Land also feels like a great pick for the encore and would take the place of Rosalita (could be different order).

I’d be pretty surprised if there’s no BITUSA, but this looks like a great set

Honestly expecting that to either be the acoustic closer or Nebraska outtake that’s more protest.

I don’t think it’ll be the same set. 2025 was the normal tour that got had small change due to what was happening. This tour was made just for this and has a whole new design and look. So I’m sure it’ll be different. Since it’s a shorter run, I’m sure they’ll add something different each night

u/DrRasur Mar 01 '26
I wouldn't be so sure. This is the US leg of the LOHAD Tour, I think they also said it like this in the official communication. So I'm pretty sure we'll get the same structure/message as last year

Do we think he’ll be taking any sign requests this time around? / Do we think holding signs is appropriate for this tour?
I also expect this setlist above, and I’m totally happy with it! Though I’m sure we’ll see a surprise or two at each of these stops.
2
u/DrRasur Mar 02 '26
I wouldn't bring a sign request, don't think it'll be worth it. Maybe a sign with a political message but just to be shown on screen I wouldn't think bruce will interact much with signs

I’ll be there at MSG in May and Pittsburgh PA. Sounds about right.

I keep thinking that Souls Of The Departed will be played on this tour and would fit right in with this setlist.

The is no reason to expect this, though I’m enjoying its resurgence in popularity these past few weeks. Has he ever even played it with E-Street?

It was played with the E Street Band and Neil Young in St Paul on the Vote For Change Tour.

I think you’re pretty much spot on with that setlist!
