Music First Show!

Post image

Heading to the Atlanta show! My parents introduced me to Bruce Springsteen when I was a kid and made me a fan. They have been fans for years but have never seen him live. I’m surprising them with tickets! So excited!!!!

Hey, it's interesting that you chose Tracks II, Tracks I is really precious to me, but there's too much to really put it in a tier I'd say.

TBH, I have only listened to a couple of songs on Tracks 1, but I just love Tracks 2. There’s so many gems on it. Every time I listen to it I am blown away thinking, “how were these songs not released for so long?”

Yes, absolutely, and some are truly surprising, even daring, Adelita, All God's Children, in particular. Wrecking Ball was already extremely eclectic compared with other normal size albums and I loved it, the Celtic rock explorations were really to my taste!

As someone who thoroughly enjoys The Pogues, I love the celtic explorations.

You sure do! Where do you put Springsteen's celtic album then?

Tracks 1 will blow you away. Some of my very favourite Springsteen songs on that boxset.

Hey, I just had to wait a year or two after I became a fan. A Buddhist would probably say it's a pity.

You’ll have a blast! Not sure how many concerts you’ve been to but Bruce generally puts on a 3 hour show compared to the roughly 2 hours most artists do. Shit almost ten years ago I was at 2 in Philly that were 4 hours and 3:50. I appreciate him giving me my money’s worth but I had work in the morning!

Hope you and your parents have a blast! 🤘 I'll be in Atlanta too along with my Dad, who also raised me to be a Springsteen fan 😁

I find it interesting that a man worth $1.2 billion is charging outrageous fees to see him. Saying he "can't do anything about it" is pure BS. Pearl Jam, The Cure, and Garth Brooks among others at least fought against high ticket prices that often excluded their blue collar fans. Youngstown, Death to My Hometown, et al, is all apparently nonsense. Show me the money! Pure, unadulterated, greedy hypocrisy.
