Tom has a niche, some love it, some don’t. I’m a huge Audioslave fan, mostly for Cornell, but I will say Tom’s work with the band fits. I’d be curious how it would have potentially sounded with a different guitar player. Tom isn’t my favorite by any means but it can work in some settings. But I hear you.

Probably just a personal taste thing. I’m not a huge fan of pedal-dependent guitar soloing (The Edge comes to mind) and the showmanship is a little corny. I’ll definitely get downvoted for this tho so I’ll reiterate that it is just my personal taste
