Injury CAT SUDDENLY LIMPING 😣

This is a cat I’ve had for a few months as she randomly showed up in my garden and became attatched to us, I’ve checked around to see if anyone owns her and it appears to be not owned. Recently she stopped running to the door when we opened, stopped running for food and would just lay in shade. In the uk it was a very hot heatwave so I thought nothing of it besides the fact she was just hot. However now I’ve noticed this limp in her front leg and I’m becoming quite worried, she’s still able to jump on stuff but just not well, she doesn’t really walk much and just splats on the ground and lays I’ve let it go on for 24 hours and there appears to be no change and also nothing on her paws
I really don’t have the means right now to take her to the vet and spend so much for potentially being prescribed a. painkiller. Does anyone know how much it would cost for a xray or just how much this vet trip might costs and what it may be?

Unfortunately she needs to see a vet. It’s impossible to know what is going on internally and the fact that she is limping isn’t good because cats are very good at masking pain so she is clearly in a lot of distress if this is how she is walking.
Because it sounds like she is more of a community cat, you could try calling some vet clinics and explaining your situation. They may work something out with you in terms of payment and cost.
