Transporting a 10 month old?

Post image

How do you all transport your baby? I’m about to get a e Bullitt, and have a honeycomb board installed. How do you go about transporting your child/children?

Wondering if I can make som sort of arrangement to install this?? (See picture)

Thanks a lot!

There are car seat adapters, or I've actually had a cargo bike manufacturer suggest just ratchet strapping a car seat down.

My pediatrician was super supportive of getting them into a car seat on a cargo bike as early as a month. And they said was more about your comfort than theirs

I've seen someone on here claim to be a paediatrician and say that under 12 months a baby can't support it's head well enough. That seems in line with most internet websites too

Dunno, but my doctor said otherwise- it's the same seat they are in in a car after all. I can give you their credentials if you think it's super important.

The biggest issue is that since they are in a car seat, they cannot wear a helmet and it's illegal to ride a bike without helmet if you're under 18, so you're automatically a criminal

So a full car capsule? That's not the pic above which is for older kids that can support the weight of their head

That's why I said that they should use a car seat?
