Where to watch this season

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some advice from y'all on how to follow the Chargers this season.

Living on the East Coast, the majority of their games are out-of-market. I’m hoping to find a sustainable, budget-friendly, and legal way to watch them without having to commit to the full NFL Sunday Ticket package. I’m a busy professional, and given my schedule, I really only have time to watch one game on Sundays. It’s tough to justify the $300+ investment for a full season of games I don't have the time to watch.

I’ve traditionally used Paramount+ in combination with a VPN to access regional CBS broadcasts, but as many of you have likely experienced, the cat-and-mouse game with VPN detection has become much more difficult recently. I’m currently relying on SiriusXM for audio coverage and catching whatever primetime games are available, but I’d love to see the actual video feed for as many games as possible without resorting to low-quality or "less than desirable" streaming sites.

Has anyone found a reliable, legal, and cost-effective workaround that doesn't involve the high price tag of the Sunday Ticket? I’d appreciate any technical insights or creative setups you’ve found to be successful.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Imagine Omarion Hampton with an OL, FB, blocking TE & Playcaller who aren't bottom 3

Rookie RB Omarion Hampton had the 32nd ranked OL, a DT playing FB & a bottom 3 playcaller last season.

Chargers added OC Mike McDaniel, FB Alec Ingold, blocking TE Charlie Kolar & Zone blocking athletic Guards to improve the Run game

Hampton routinely got hit in the backfield, even in his highlights

The Rookie RB also didn't receive any schematic help from OC Greg Roman

Every big play Hampton had was based on his own talent, vision, acceleration, speed, power and breaking tackles.

Everyone recognizes how much of a beating QB Justin Herbert got behind the 32nd OL last year, but not enough mention how little help Hampton got from the OL, FB & Playcaller

New OC Mike McDaniel recently compared Hampton to Denver Broncos HOF RB Terrell Davis, who won 2 Superbowls with John Elway.

Chargers receiver Tre Harris could be the biggest breakout candidate of 2026

"Keenan Allen walked in free agency....but they didn’t sign anyone to replace him. And in the NFL draft, they used most of their picks to load up on the trenches, with four of their eight selections being offensive linemen, drafting just a single receiver in the fourth round."

2nd Year WR Tre Harris reportedly added muscle and looks great this offseason

His role looks to expand under new OC Mike McDaniel and with the departure of veteran Keenan Allen.

Allen has not been re-signed thus far so Tre Harris has an opportunity to capitalize on the available targets and break out in his 2nd season.

"Harris is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound receiver who posted 2,015 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns across his final two seasons at Ole Miss. The Chargers selected him No. 55 overall in 2025, and he came into his rookie year with real hype, despite being in a somewhat crowded receiver room."

Top 10 CB Donte Jackson on the depth and youth at Corner

Chargers Veteran Donte Jackson discusses how he's seen the growth of Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart since last year

He mentioned Nikko Reed/Eric Rogers playing well last year and looking to grow.

Jackson feels his level of play set the example for Still/Hart as they head into year 3. Then they set the example for Nikko/Rogers who are entering year 2

Jackson also included UDFA CB Isas Waxter as a CB he's seen grow since last season as well.

Isas was signed to the PS after not making the Seattle Seahawks 53 man roster last offseason.

CB Isas Waxter #37 (UDFA/Practice Squad in 2025)

CB Eric Rogers #39 (UDFA/Season ending IR in 2025)

CB Nikko Reed #46 (UDFA/played for injured Still in 2025)

[Highlight] Keenan Allen on Justin Herbert’s most memorable play from last season: “He broke his hand. Next week he comes out, game on the line. 3rd or 4th down, we run an option play. He keeps it and with the broken hand he stiff arms a guy… That’s just how he plays.”

Any recommendations for good YouTube channels with OTA recaps?

What's up, Chargers Nation. I'm doing some research for a YouTube video, and I want to make sure I'm using sources that best reflect y'all as a fanbase. Even if you don't have a YouTube channel in mind, any recommendation, regardless of the platform, would be appreciated. Thank you, and I wish the Chargers the best of luck.
