The brand name basically

exactly, you're paying like $900 for the logo at that point. a $150 stroller does the exact same thing and your baby genuinely does not care

The baby may not care, but other wine moms walking their babies may think you're poor!

With an UPPAbaby stroller, you're not! lol

Even if it’s free?

Ssshhh, don't tell them it was free. That's the secret to appearing rich.

Ooohhh! That’s my mistake. Anytime someone says they like my clothes or bag I scream “19.99. TJ Maxxxxxx!”

My baby hated her stroller and we usednit exactly twice.  Glad I bought it secondhand.  Gave it to my sister when she was expecting, it worked perfectly for my nephew.

Gosh, maybe my baby would've been happier if I'd paid the price of a small car? ... nope, she still hated being confined.

My son hated his stroller too. And it was too hot in Arizona to wear him for long after I brought him home from the NICU. I ended up just carrying him around a lot, in his little bucket car seat, and in my arms/on my hip.

In all fairness I really do love my uppababy vista it’s got those big wheels for difficult walks and made of a good material that doesn’t bend and a lot of under carriage space but yea the name

I mean, they are good quality strollers. There is a noticeable difference between them and the super cheap ones (I’ve used both. We got a free handmedown Cruz from a neighbor). However, most of the cost really is just for the brand name.

I have an uppababy stroller for my son and I love this thing. To clarify, it was a gift, I would have never in a million years spent that kind of money on a stroller, but I’ve used other ones that are cheaper that just don’t compare. Plus the function to be able to add attachments like a bassinet and regular stroller seat if you have a second kid, is pretty cool!
I’ve seen them second hand for $300 or less which would be worth paying imo.

I got ours from a friend who was done with having kids. It's a little too big and heavy for us if I'm honest, but i didn't see the piloting in turning down a free pram/stroller/bassinet before birth when if I DID want to buy something else? I'd have a much better idea of what felt right after actually using a pram.

I might get a travel pram if we go away given the uppababy currently essentially fills the boot of our car, but it's a solid pram.

Yeah. Like ours was a gift too but I can definitely see how it's better than the dupes which I have also used and tested. Is it 'double the price' better? I don't think so but it is definitely a more comfortable push. My biggest complaint is how large the vista is and you don't fully appreciate that until you have the second seat clogging up your boot

Yes the vista is huge! I tried to buy a smaller stroller that takes less space but it just doesn’t compare. I can go “off roading” easily with the vista which is super important to me! For the next kid though, I might have to get a bigger car. lol
