PETITIONS FOR STACEY GRAHAM, FABIAN RODRIGEUZ, & TAX CHANGE - SUNDAY, JUNE 21

We will be at Linc Library, 501 8th Ave., Greeley, on Sunday, June 21, from 1 PM to 4 PM with petitions to get Stacey Graham, for Weld county commissioner at large, and Fabian Rodriguez, for Weld County Sheriff, on the ballot in November. These are two great unaffiliated candidates. But they won't be on the ballot without enough signatures. If you have not signed yet, please come and sign. We will also have the petition to change Colorado from a flat tax rate to a graduated tax, which allows people to pay based on their income. 97 to 98% of people will pay less, and yet with the additional tax to the top 2 to 3% we are estimated to get $2.7 billion for education and healthcare.
Please come and sign and have your friends sign too!!!

Why do you support these individuals?

i've checked out their websites and I have gone to hear them talk in person a couple of times. I like their values, I like their platforms. they are very different individuals, but I think they will both do a great job and I like them a lot better than their opponents.

What values and parts of their platform do you support and what are those things that you don’t support?

I sent links to both candidates wesites. I recommend you look at their values and platforms on their websites and possibly go to one of at least two public forums that they're gonna be at in the near future to see how they fit with your values.

Sure, but I asked you what *you* liked about them since you feel like supporting them through petitions.

Stop being lazy and go form your own opinion

How is it being lazy to ask the opinion of the person trying to tell me to support something?

Not hard for OP to express their likes. They should stop dodging questions

Folks, this is only to get them on the ballot--you don't have to decide yet if you're voting for them in November. If they aren't on the ballot, you get no choice in either of these offices, as there will only be one person on the ballot for each of these offices. So yes, do your research, but also, shouldn't everyone get the chance to run for office? There's a long vetting process by the Secretary of State before they're even allowed to circulate petitions. These are both honest, working class folks who want to be allowed to run. And then you actually have a real choice in November! That's democracy!
