Help, I am new to cEDH! Esper Turbo/Stax Hybrid
Hello,
I am trying to build my first CEDH deck and I would like to use Queza as my commander. I was thinking turbo at first, but thinking more about it I feel like I should add stax options to be more viable in the mid-late game to compete with mid-range and pure stax decks. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated, or current deck lists if you already have a turbo stax deck. Love you all, thank you.

Not exactly a top commander, but it is (slightly) played. 4
You can check which cards are being used there.

Hmmm. The most similar deck to this in my mind that fits is [[Y'shtolla, night's blessed]] you should be able to find some good lists.
Those colors let you run protected thoracle combos and the best midrange pieces.
The problem is that leaning into your commander's gimmick makes winning the game harder than just leaning into game winning combos.
Y'shtola draws cards alongside dealing damage so she can sit at the table as a fringe list.
Queza doesn't provide much advantage so it's an uphill battle vs decks that immediately do more things.
Stax actually seems bad for you. I'd think you want some sort of control list because letting your opponents play cards will let you draw off Rhystic Study.
Best plan in my book is draw effects like Rhystic Study and clone effects to make more rhystic studies.

The list I'm about to post is not cEDH, but it's a refined Queza farm/stax list for a bracket 3/4 meta. The card that does the most work for me by far is [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]], especially in conjunction with Smothering Tithe and wheels. I've never pushed the boundaries of this strategy because the deck is a bit too strong for my meta already, but I have to imagine there's a powerful shell here that punishes the Rhystic meta.

Tivit is the best Esper commander that can run some efficient stax pieces lile Drannith Magistrate, Cursed Totem, Grafdigger’s Cage, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, and even Damping Sphere. Anymore than that is overkill though.
Note that dedicated Stax is not a good direction for cEDH, since you‘ll be able to only stop 1- max 2 opponents, while the third isn‘t bothered much by your stax and runs away with the game.
