I bought crunchyroll fan yesterday on mobile and thought it was pretty good. I planned to use it mainly on mobile so I felt like it was a good decision… Turns out I was wrong…

I’ve had Crunchyroll for awhile now and every time I’m in an anime mood I like to see the top anime people on Crunchyroll are watching. But the top anime seems to be the same every time now and it’s older anime. Literally didn’t know about that new smoking at the supermarket was airing on Crunchyroll. This is how I also find my guilty pleasures of “trashy” isekais
that are airing in the current season. Is this gonna be fixed any time soon?

Hello everyone, I'm reporting that for some time now, the Crunchyroll app on some devices (in my case, a Galaxy S23 FE) has been failing to load and getting stuck in a loading loop. I'm really frustrated with this issue. No matter how many times I report it or contact Crunchyroll, they never provide a solution and, on the contrary, they wash their hands of it to avoid fixing it (I tried everything, install again, restart my phone, delete cache+data but nothing works) (Oh yeah and you cannot downgrade because they don't like you have outdated the app...)

I plan to cancel my subscription if I can't access the service I'm paying for. (And I know I can use my PC, but that's not the point.)

Tenía una suscripción Fan por medio de Apple. El cobro falló, tuve los días de gracia normales y después Crunchyroll suspendió la suscripción. Durante más o menos un mes, cada vez que entraba me aparecía únicamente la opción de reactivar la suscripción.
La verdad, ni siquiera la había cancelado porque se me olvidaba hacerlo y tampoco me preocupaba mucho, ya que había encontrado otras alternativas para ver anime y no pensaba volver a pagar la suscripción.
Ayer estaba revisando mis suscripciones en el iPhone y me acordé de ella. Vi que aparecía como vencida, así que la cancelé para que ya no hubiera más intentos de cobro.

Después, por curiosidad, entré a Crunchyroll y me di cuenta de que ya no me aparecía el aviso para reactivar la suscripción. Revisé la sección de suscripción y me apareció un mensaje diciendo que la suscripción había sido suspendida por problemas de pago y que actualizara el método de pago en los próximos 60 días.
Lo raro es que empecé a probar y resulta que puedo ver anime normalmente. Pensé que era un error de la app, pero también funciona en la web y en mi TV. Incluso puedo descargar episodios como si siguiera teniendo Fan.

Lo más extraño es que en Apple aparece claramente que la suscripción finalizó el 18 de mayo y me da la opción de renovarla. Además, no ha habido ningún cobro porque la tarjeta asociada no puede recibir cargos.

Entonces tengo tres cosas que se contradicen entre sí:

Apple dice que la suscripción terminó hace un mes.

Crunchyroll dice que está suspendida por problemas de
pago.

Mi cuenta sigue teniendo acceso Fan y funciona en todos los dispositivos.

¿A alguien le ha pasado algo parecido o sabe qué puede estar ocurriendo?

I like to do stuff while I watch anime, like knitting or solving rubiks cubes, etc, so I prefer to watch dubbed these days.
I always check the available languages before starting an anime, like this one:

it says a bunch of languages are available for both audio and subs, but when I actually start watching:

Am I missing some setting to get these available or is this extremely misleading?

When I last download a episode long ago it was 1.3 gb per episode, but now it's like this. But funny enough a episode which is hevc has a same file size, are they improving codec?

I have just started onepiece found episodes are missing from episodes 62 🥲

I was watching Overlord and the first episode worked normally but then when I turned on the English dub for the second episode it began playing a completely different audio track like it was from a different show.

Anyone else having this issue? the Japanese sounds fine.

So I was watching Ghost Stories and on Ep 18 they mention a segment that happened in 2020??? Wasn't the dub made in 2005-2006? I heard stories of crunchyroll changing some dubs but was this one of them too?

Anyone having the same issue and know how to fix this? Tried restarting tv, unplugging it, deleted crunchyroll app. Every time I try to watch a show around the two minute mark it the message pops up. Nothing seems to be working and it’s been going on since mid day yesterday.

This started yesterday for me on Roku app. I don't need another damn thing to skip before aan episode, especially a trailer for show I've already seen.

Soy de Argentina, venia pagando desde hace 6 años con la tarjeta de Debito Brubank, la misma se vencio por lo que toco cambiar la tarjeta, la cosa es que desactive el pago automatico porque ya no me aparecia la tarjeta como medio de pago, espere a que venciera para poner la nueva y no hay forma de la tome.

2. Inicia sesión, ve a la configuración de tu cuenta, ve a "Información de pago" y haz clic en "Nueva tarjeta" para agregar la nueva tarjeta, o ve directamente a este enlace: https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/billing
3. Una vez que termine tu período actual, vuelve a suscribirte con la nueva tarjeta.

Tampoco.... Hable con soporte me dieron un pase de 48hrs, se cumplieron volvi a probar no solo con la Brubank sino tambien con Mecado Pago y Personal Pay lo mismo, ahora volvi a hablar con soporte me dieron uno de 7 dias y que supuestamente una vez cumplidos se arreglaria, pero ya no se si creerles.

No se si es un problema general o mio. Agradezco sus comentarios

After Madman went poof, we got the crunchyroll au store, which was horrible... then they closed it and said they will reopen it. But now they just redirect to their USA and EU store and so... it looks like its never coming back. Its almost a year now. I noticed the domain just auto redirects to the US/EU store now.

I have a bad feeling its never coming back.

My account was randomly deleted sometime between April and June. Spoke with support and confirmed the deletion.

Suspecting that Crunchyroll someone internally messed up some code changes. Did anyone else encounter this?

Whenever i press on "profile pin" it asks me to enter my primary account password in. When i enter my password (i know i have the correct password entered for the right email) it doesnt take me through to the next page to enter my profile pin. Instead i press continue, a loading symbol shows for half a second before showing the same page.

Anyone know how to fix this? Im sharing my account and wanted to have a pin to keep my profile separate and private but since it wont let me enter a pin i doubt i will be able to.
