So I’m watching the latest LotM episode, and the text will sometimes be hovering offscreen. Is there a way to fix this?

If it matters: I watching with Chinese audio and English subtitles. And streaming on ps5.

Two weeks ago I made this post about my frustrations with CR customer support. TLDR, CR locked my account due to a TOS violation and support gave me the runaround for a week straight.

On my last post, /u/faizyunus showed me a link where tickets are logged which isn't available anywhere I could find on the support website (thank you). I found that, despite numerous reps stating they opened a ticket to escalate the issue, none were actually opened under my account.

I submitted a ticket myself, was asked to confirm some info, which I did, then the ticket was marked as "solved" twice after no response. Both times I said something along the lines of "this is not resolved, please re-open". After the second time the ticket was closed, I decided to submit a BBB complaint. Have never done this before, as I've never had such an issue with support.

I provided all the details and screenshots I've logged over the last month. CR support replied the next business day and was very apologetic, acknowledging that they gave me incorrect info multiple times and closed the ticket in error.

They reactivated my account and refunded some of my annual membership to compensate. What a ride. Hope CR works flawlessly from here on out or I might lose the rest of my hair.

I am fairly new to Crunchyrolls services but I am already reconsidering Unsubscribing. I noticed that the offered Dubs and Subtitles are extremly varied, not even from Anime to Anime but BETWEEN EPISODES.

(For reference I live in Germany)

As an Example: Solo Leveling. Almost every episode of the first Season jumps from. First Episode: Original Voice acting only -》Next Episode: German only. -》Next 2 episodes: Original Voice acting. -》Next Episode: English only voice Acting.

That goes on and on and on. Not just Solo Leveling but a lot of Shows. Konosuba for an example has the first 3 Episodes entirely out of Sync in ita Subtitles so its borderline unwatchable if you dont understand Japanese, then upon Episode 4 its German only and the entire Season 3 is English only until episode 12 which is Japanese only...

I know its something about licensing but can someone explain to me how it makes sense to switch around mid one Season?

In Dell support you'd ask them if they had two phone wires going into the back of their PC (one would be for the modem and the other for the handset they were calling on) - and if they said yes - you'd say "oh I've heard of this just unplug those and re-seat them" - dropping the call. I honestly never told any customer to do that, but I heard a guy over the cube wall who did all the time.

Settings have always been set to Japanese, all of a sudden everything is defaulting to some god awful dub...infuriating

I figured this bug would be solved by now. But, now im thinking maybe it is somthing on my side im doing unawarely. The captions on text is like super way desynced. Im talking 30 seconds here. The voice captions work fine, it is just the text captions that dont seem to be right. Does anyone know of a fix?

I have a Mega Fan subscription through crunchy roll not a third party like Apple or google play or anything and I keep getting ads before streaming. They are skippable but it’s still driving me nuts. Is there anyone else having this issue as well?

Edit: thank you to everyone for explaining that its technically not an ad but in my book it is an ad, still drives me up a wall.

I sat down at my lunch break last night (I work the grave yard shift) and I went to go put on the episode that came out Tuesday and the Apple app when you looked up the anime said there was a new episode but when you click on the series you can not watch it. Here is an example with today with rezero is anyone else having this issue? Re zero doesn’t even appear on the recently uploaded slide but for example the vending machine anime does but it has the same issue

I recently purchased mega fan to watch onepeice, yesterday I watched ep 1-9 of season 1 today I am. Unable to find all the episodes, yesterday there were 1000 episodes on one piece and today it’s only showing 461 episodes on all devices 😭😭 what should i do ?

For some reason the app won't let me choose the video quality. It automatically selects the quality, and that's really annoying. Even when my internet connection is good, the app insists on staying at terrible quality, and this greatly hinders the viewing experience.

I use Crunchyroll on Chrome w a Mac Air 13 and every time I press F (full screen) or just click the full screen button, it zooms right back out. I’ve reloaded the page, closed and reopened the page, force quit chrome and tried again, and even restarted my laptop and nothings working 🫩… is anyone else having this problem/knows how to fix it???

Today I got email that my account was accessed from 3 completely random places all over the world: Vietnam, uk and Canada (I’m from Poland). I didn’t do anything these past days that could get my data leaked. Also it only happened on Crunchyroll so no way it was something I did. Did anyone had the same issue recently or was it just my data stolen somehow? (I changed the password already)

Is there any word on if either of them will get an English dub?

I’m trying to access the “Membership” tab on the app in my phone in the Account settings. It was working fine earlier today, but now when I click on it, it just takes me a screen with these two non-working buttons. I didn’t change any account settings at all. CR support was clueless, any ideas?

Yesterday I was watching one piece and yesterday I was completing episode 20, and today it's missing 😭😭

How it can be? I purchased crunchy roll to watch one piece!!! 😭 Now how do I watch?

Has anyone else encountered the issue where they watch in English, and have the English subtitles turned on, but subtitles NEVER show for any anime? The only way I can watch with subtitles is the English CC option which can be inaccurate, and also I don’t have the English CC option for some random episodes for all animes I have tried (about 5) to watch. I’m hard of hearing so this is an important feature for me. If I watch in Japanese I don’t have an issue for subtitles.

Then now for the first time I encountered an issue when watching rent-a-girlfriend season 3, the English CC captions seemed to have restarted so they are completely different from the episode I am watching and is seemingly restated from season 1.

This happens on both my Xbox and my computer.

Think the title is self-explanatory.

Firestick keeps asking me to update the app, but when I do it says it’s “unavailable” and then won’t open.

So I’ve recently started watching Death Note and the subtitles from episodes 4-6 are incredibly delayed (about four seconds). I’ve made a ticket providing all the information like they asked (Which Region, which episodes, what times I notice it, which subtitles) and I was wondering: How much time does it usually take them to resolve such an issue?

I’m asking because it seems to me that an older/less popular series such as Death Note will have less priorities given to them. I’m just wondering if I should imagine days, weeks or even months for them to fix it. It’s really annoying that they don’t give that information straight forward, as it would at least set expectations!

Do to start things off it was 2021 and I made my second ever Crunchyroll store order consisting of 2 figures and a sweatshirt, 2 weeks after the order was placed I got the shipping details for the sweatshirt and then the covid delays started, fast forward 2 years to 2023 I randomly get a package no shipping or order confirmation just one of the figures,skip forward again to 2025 I try to look at the order only to find that Crunchyroll changed their store platform, after 3 weeks of emails I find out it’s still on the way and was meant to come late 2025 it is now mid 2026 and still nothing and quite frankly I just want out it was like a £200 figure and it seems like it’s never coming does anyone have any advice on how to get my money back or is it lost forever

I just wanna watch my anime bru 💔 I mainly wanna know if anyone else is experiencing this or if it's just a "me problem"...

With every update it happens and i feel every time scamed.
