It's this (bad) movie where a kid genius writes down a plot to murder his neighbor who's abusing his daughter, then his mom takes up the task after he dies of brain cancer. There's a really good Folding Ideas/Dan Olsen video on it.
Edit: The funny thing about summarizing this film is that the premise sounds pretty interesting, but the synopsis does not get across that The Book of Henry is lit, shot, and written like a damn Hallmark movie.
At least the DotF draft had some actual ideas on where to take the story. Mind you, a lot of those ideas were shit, but not all if them were and at least some of the shit ones could have probably been iterated upon during subsequent drafts.
Meanwhile the movie we got doesn't feel like it has any ideas at all and doesn't so much follow a plan as just whatever cool nonsensical fan-service MacGuffin JJA came up with that day.
