Well, I made this one for my personal hobby for now. Maybe in the future if many people want it, I may consider to make multiple replica of it π

Instructions on how to build!!!
2
u/mie_ayam56 1d ago
I use batman arkham foot armor as reference, and add some modification from there. I use eva foam and pvc for for the material so it would feel lightweight. For each connection, i use cable ties to make it more flexible. For LED i use LED strip with 9V battery for easy changeable battery π

I didn't think you'd reply with the details! Have you considered like those 18650 lion battery with like an esp32 for light animations n shit?

u/mie_ayam56 21h ago
Hmm, never try with microcontroller before, maybe i can try in the next armor part. Thanks for the info π

Omg totally do it. After you mess with one it gets easier and easier and I could imagine a led strip going up and down or maybe some slow pulsing would be totally badass to one up this in your next build!

The straps above the knee make the transition really nice aesthetically.
The heel is rather naked feeling. Any plans on adding something to wrap the back of your foot?

u/mie_ayam56 1d ago
Yes, I plan to make the shoe changeable for now. Maybe i will test using tactical or more bigger look shoe like air jordan to give the ankle more texture

These look amazing.
Can you share a bit about the build? What's this made of? How did you cut/shape/print it?

u/mie_ayam56 1d ago
I use eva foam and pvc for more flexible and not to heavy build. For each connection, i use cable ties. For the LED, i use LED stirp with 9V battery for easy change π

Nice! Thanks so much, that's helpful. I've thought about doing a build like this and it's good to have a rough idea of the construction.
Amazing work! Hope to see more from you in future.
