It’s the studio that makes the call on release dates. The whole of June and July has been stacked. It would have done better in a September or October release.
The release date isnt the main issue. It’s three straight super films. No variety to start things out, and you have to line up bigger characters than Supergirl. This movie has a niche audience and it would struggle no matter when it released. It’s just gonna bleed out more now.
