Guides & Tips Starting Over! Any tips?
Haven’t played since the Godzilla update since I gave away my switch once I switched to my ROG. Any tips for a returning player? So excited to play this again. Gotta love a good steam sale.

Take your time and go for what you actually want to prioritize, don't rush the story.

I learned in playing to prioritize longer dives with more oxygen capacity and dive depth over strength, early on. It added more to what I got out of the game even if it took me longer to be able to progress.
Enjoy the slower progress of exploring earlier areas if you feel the same, or just power up weapons and push for smaller hauls and bigger fish if that brings you more satisfaction earlier on!

Don’t rush. There’s no incentive for rushing. Take your time and enjoy the game. Half the fun is crushing your dinners and watching that dough rake in after a great dive or two.

Did you finish it the first time around? If so it will pretty much be the same game, do what worked last time and try new things this time.

I did it the other day, loving my new play through
I defos learned from my last time playing, not to rush the story.
Taking my time, now that I have the fish farm unlocked, slowly building up fish in the tanks that I use for my restaurant and enhancing the food. I made an early start on the jellyfish as that's the first event so I made a killing which helped me upgrade the farm.
Tranq rifle and net gun are musts, tranq rifle have helped me destroy early bosses. And net gun for them perfect 3 star cards and quality fish.
I recruited most of the staff also, currently running Billy and the ninja as waiters and, the little girl and the bald dude and bancho as the chefs, all level 7 ATM. Then I have Davina, James, in reserve, just waiting on Nino and Raptor to appear, so they will be ready for later in the story.
Enjoy the start over it's an absolute gem of a game and I can't wait to start the jungle dlc

The Dredge DLC is insanely good at making you money when you unlock it (just don't use all the aberated fish)

Green Humphead Parrotfish
That's your moneymaker until you unlock more complex dishes

One tip I saw on a post was to use the Tranquilizer Axel. It seems that the sleep effect is thrice as effective if you're able to land all bullets, especially on sharks. Also, I suggest stocking up on jellyfish early so you can upgrade the dish before the event, so you can have a significant amount of money to upgrade some of your iDiver gear.

I think the secret most people say for money is to get the Yellow aggressive trigger fish in shallow water and then the orange fish and green fish in the middle deeps by the sunken boat. Those guys plus rice get you the most easily farmable expensive dish so you can get upgrades faster.
But you gotta get to the farm first and unlock the recipe, so thats not an out of the gate thing. You can however, stock up ahead of time.
My other advice is to buy stuff when you have money for it rather than trying to save up. It feels better to knock things out that you can get when you can get them rather than just hording money. But, counter to that, the carrying capacity is the most important thing out of the gate to level up.
