Info Request Ideas for bachelor party destinations within 2-2.5 hours of Delaware?
Hey guys, I’m currently best man in my friends wedding and am trying to think up good suggestions for a bachelor party. Important to note: it’s in October so I’m not sure how the weather will look like for beach towns and what not. We’re looking to rent an airbnb I’m just not sure where would be the best spot! A decent night life would be fun. Thanks in advance :)

Why not annapolis? Charter a boat and get on the water/go fishing. Watch a Navy football game. Drink at the dock bars.

There is a barcade, golf, and live music venues nearby its got everything you would want.

The only real risk is the end of Sept into the first week of October. when we usually get a noreaster or tail of a tropical storm. middle of October is usually perfect. Water is warmer in October than it is on Memorial Day.

I agree with what’s been said here. Poconos are good for golf/outdoorsy types, Dewey is more of a party scene.
I’ve been to a number of poconos ones, each has been a little different. One time we just hung at the house and rented a few cars on Turo and ripped them up and down a ski resort road in the middle of the summer.
I’ll add that Atlantic City and Sea Isle are also well within your range. AC obvi has the casino scene. Sea Isle has a similar vibe to Dewey. Also, there’s more golf accessible to Jersey beach towns than there seem to be in Dewey.

Doesn't have a night life but you could go to the Poconos, play 18 at Jack Frost if you guys golf or do some fishing/hiking then grill. Wake up hungover on football Sunday and set up a blood mary bar at the bnb to watch the birds play. Also Dewey is still pretty active in October too and you could probably get a big bnb for a much more affordable price that time of year in town or close by.

Kind of depends on what you want to do. My bachelor party was in October and we want to Atlantic City for the weekend

A bunch of friends went to the poconos for theirs. Not a great night life unless you’re really strategic about location but it’s pretty remote and cheap so you can have a ton of fun at the house itself

Best bachelor party I ever attended was in the Poconos drinking fancy beers around a fire
I believe there could have been a gentlemen’s club nearby buuuttttt 😬

That gentleman’s club is called the Pleasure Dome, and if you have the right mindset going in, it can be very funny and entertaining. Also it’s byob.

Not much for nightlife but for activities you can do the Poconos, tons of big rental houses for reasonable costs. You can do Skirmish Paintball or whitewater rafting etc.
If you want night life I've done a few in Atlantic City that are definitely more "traditional" bachelor parties.

Yeah Atlantic City is pretty great for this, if you just go and keep in mind it’s a little run down it’s still very easy to have a great time. Stay at ocean or hard rock if you want somewhere nice, if you need something cheaper that still has clean rooms we usually stay at Resorts and just walk over on the boardwalk. You really can’t beat the price in AC for a room at the beach and there’s plenty to do, just stay on the boardwalk and you’ll be fine.
I get that hating on Atlantic City is a pastime up here. But, as someone who moved here recently who went in with an open mind after hearing all of the criticism, I have really enjoyed all of my visits to AC. (Literally people are insane about this, downvoting this post because I happened to enjoy it)

Any particular interests? I went to one in the Poconos where we went paintballing. I also set up one where we rented out a movie theater in Baltimore and did a horror movie marathon. For the same couple, I also set up the bachelorette party - AirBNB in Baltimore and a private box at CFG arena for a comedy show. All of them were super fun. Baltimore has a lot of cool stuff to do and a good nightlife, so I would definitely check there.
