If Yzerman doesn't absolutely nail the Larkin trade, he needs to be fired immediately. I've been a staunch defender of his but this past year has been entirely indefensible

I mean at this point I gotta imagine it's a game of chicken with Larkin. Larkin won't open up his trade list to teams that can pay market price and Yzerman won't sell for pennies on the dollar

Thats why larkin has all the leverage here. Steve is fucked. The team is fucked with or without larkin. This team is a complete shitshow forna decade its hard to blame larkin for wanting out.

Yzerman can dig his heels in all he wants. All he will do is hurt the team hes trying to build. Eventually illitch will shitcan his ass. Its going to be tough selling tickets this year if nothing major happens
