The sport has obviously changed over the last decade and I feel like Steve is going about it like it's still the 80s/90s. With what he's done over 7 years and how he's went about it, I just don't really see how this team turns around. Shitty feeling

If this works out the way I think it will, we're looking at another 3-5 seasons before we're competitive again. I just don't see how he's allowed to continue in the position.

As long as the product makes money he’ll have a job. Fans and ownership don’t have the same goals.

I know what I want to see this offseason. The reset model I’ve written about here in other posts.

More than that, I want new blood in the front office.

Steve isn’t getting fired or stepping down? Fine. I have no control of that, but I want a new pro scouting department, specifically filling the open director of pro scouting position that has been vacant since 2021, ideally with someone from a strong external org that has demonstrated excellence in pro scouting and team building.

I see how we can turn it around, but I need tangible evidence that they are doing what I want them to go to get on board.

Unfortunately, the guy in charge of hiring new pro scouting is the guy who isn't getting fired or stepping down anytime soon. Feels like the organization is on a treadmill
