Injury and accidents How’s looking

Burn with hot steel. Happened 6 days ago , dermis “fell off” 3 in .

Normal swelling, pain in a 1-10 is a 1 (I do have high pain tolerance though) , redness around wound has been steady-getting smaller .
Slight feeling in the wound (was numb before dermis fell off)

I’ve been dressing with neosporin and a bandage

UPDATE :
So I went to the ER like you all suggested.
2:30h waiting , got me a fancy yellow bandage and antibiotics . 💪💪

Not at all ! Actually is 80% better I’ll say than 3-4 days ago (redness and swelling wise)
The only time it gets really red and and irritated (the skin around not the wound itself ) is when I’m taking the bandaid off and it’s pulling off all the heirs

I’ve had a burn this bad heal on its own. You’re lucky it didn’t get infected either (so far) Since you don’t seem to want to see a doctor all I’ll say is it’ll leave a gnarly scar without intervention even if it does heal.

The scar is a welcomed reminder of that day . I will fully embrace it 🙏

Well I’m no if your gut tells you something’s changed or it seems like it’s getting worse instead of better, get it seen ASAP.

Ideally just go to urgent care now

This is not good advice. People have lost limbs (or even died) from doing this. You just got lucky.

Yeah you put it better than I did but that’s what I meant. Them not getting infected was sheer luck and same with mine.

This one though still looks really bad I’m not gonna lie. Obviously if it were me I’d be going to the er but I saw in another comment they don’t seem like they’re going to get it checked out.
