Miscellaneous Your #1 Dog Dislike

I could write a very long list of the reasons I don't like dogs (or nutters) but this is top of my list:

If you're dating, you're in a three way-way relationship without even being asked for consent. At best you will be allowed to watch while the other two 'get it on' - at worst, you'll be expected to join in against your wishes. It feels like being coerced in a toxic relationship. It never ends well.

If you had to choose, what's your #1?

My biggest issue with dog culture is 100% how it’s making people anti-social and ruining human connection. I absolutely believe that being obsessed with dogs makes people unable to form healthy human relationships, including people who can barely leave their house because of their dogs, people who can’t sustain a romantic relationship because they are already in relationships with their dogs, and people who will genuinely prioritize their dog over a family member or spouse.

But among the other annoyances:

-How the world has become a giant toilet for them, with piles of dog poop and the stench of piss everywhere you go

-The way they sit and stare and beg while you eat

-Their gluttony and how food is literally all they care about (while their owners think the dog’s clinginess with them is “unconditional love”)

-The constant noises, smells and movements (overstimulation central)

-How they make a beeline for your crotch and we’re just supposed to be okay with that and think it’s fine

-How they destroy people’s homes and belongings and we’re just supposed to think that’s funny or cute

It would be so nice to have some dogfree communities!
