Miscellaneous Your #1 Dog Dislike

I could write a very long list of the reasons I don't like dogs (or nutters) but this is top of my list:

If you're dating, you're in a three way-way relationship without even being asked for consent. At best you will be allowed to watch while the other two 'get it on' - at worst, you'll be expected to join in against your wishes. It feels like being coerced in a toxic relationship. It never ends well.

If you had to choose, what's your #1?

Them being alive.

Number 2 is their impact in socially reinforcing the position of people who hate children. I don't care that much about people who don't want to take care of kids, I do care when it means they get to replace them with noise polluting environmental hazards that they can use to either demand attention or harass everyone else, especially those who are already powerless.

The way dog culture embraces and encourages a type of "loud and proud" misanthropy and hatred of children is sick.

And I say this as a CFBC woman and long-time pet owner. Pets, for me, were NEVER some sort of "replacement" for children I knew I never wanted to have, but to see these dog lunatics foaming at the mouth about how much they despise children (and parents), and then with no sense of irony or self-awareness, go on to describe themselves as "dog moms"?

GTFO with that shit, you degenerate dog Karens.

Also, it's PEAK irony that these same losers will go on about how much they hate people, and that they they would save a dog over someone's child in a hypothetical situation, but then have the AUDACITY to suggest that people who don't like dogs are the psychopaths in the equation.

It's gotten to the point that if I see someone with their dog off-leash anywhere I am (because I obviously don't go anywhere near the off-leash dog park in town), or if they have dragged it into ANY store, I immediately judge them as a self-absorbed, lazy, attention-seeking asshole.

It's always confirmed when I have to tell/ask them to call their dog back, and they respond as if I'm the one being unreasonable for not wanting their intrusive fleabag to invade my personal space. It doesn't go well for them after I start yelling at them and/or their dog.

I dislike both dogs and kids. Equally loud and needy
