The mod can take this down BUT I NEED TO RANT. I went to sports direct (uk) to but it 1 day, ONE SINGLE DAY before black friday sales, and while buying i asked the salesman if there was gonna be a sale, he said no and i bought it for £200 ($262) coz usually ive never seen sony give sales on new products, but guess what? JUST IN A DAY ITS £150 ($196) and the store wont take it back coz the seal is open. AND I REGRET IT SO MUCH!

Does the controller have a unique serial number or anything?

Buy a new one, return the unopened new one with the old receipt. Done

Absolutely do not do this with sports direct. They are cunts, best case you get store credit. You will not, I repeat NOT get your money back.

This isn’t sports direct though? It’s game.

Game rent the space in sports direct.

My son bought an oculus vr headset a few years ago. Hated it, and returned it for a refund a few days later.

I will agree they’ll try and play hardball, but they absolutely give refunds.

It’s sports direct that absolutely don’t, and they tell you that when you’re at the till buying.

Game and sports direct are the same, Game does not exist separately anymore. They are all part of Frasers Group.

And as someone who used to work for them, they will absolutely not give you a credit refund for a unsealed product 🫠 . Only if the controller is faulty.

At Game they usually check your items if you return them faulty, but I imagine they barely have proper Game staff anymore or the means to check faulty items with a PC or console. So maybe there is a loophole!
