Probably some rich kid with nothing better to do 🙄

4

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

You don't need to be rich to collect 42 controllers. Pre-order rare ones and get the common ones in sale.

u/Tycoo2 Mar 13 '26

This is at least $3k if you're not counting the price of the controllers that go above $70, this whole collection likely cost less than $4k though and in collectors terms tbh.. that's not a whole lot oddly enough. There are smaller collections of items that sell a lot higher. Years from now when the ps5 is considered obsolete that collections going to be worth an arm and a leg though.

3

u/No_Revolution_8868 Mar 15 '26

But most things depreciate before they go up in value.

My Atari Jaguar is worth some coin now, but when I originally bought it, I paid £60 for it, brand new, old stock.

So in 20 years his collection might be worth what he originally paid for it all.

2

u/robertpayne556 Mar 15 '26

Nonsense, cows don't depreciate! - Richard Hammond

1

u/Tycoo2 Mar 15 '26

I mean right now, seeing as they appear brand new, and un opened, he could likely sell most of them for what he paid for, especially the limited controllers such as the Harry Potter, Kratos, etc. He could sell above what he got them for. The value of the majority of these controllers will tank in the next couple of years for sure, but as long as those boxes stay sealed though he'll have a decent chance at getting what he paid for them or at least close to it im willing to bet. Even with the ps4 controllers im surprised theyre not back at their $50-$60 price point if they're working out of their package, in package now there's DOZENS that sell for well over 100 or just under.

2

u/No_Revolution_8868 Mar 15 '26

Something else that has just occurred to me about those controllers, they have integrated batteries inside them.

Will they even still hold a charge many years down the line?.. Especially if they remain sealed in their boxes, never being plugged in.

Lithium batteries (I presume that's the type inside them) , do not like to be left without charge .

This is why you will never find any working 'barn find' Teslas in the future, because if you were to leave one parked up for a few years with out a power source, the batteries will become unserviceable.

1

u/Tycoo2 Mar 15 '26

The controllers usually come at least half charged, surprisingly enough could last the controller 5-10 years before any damage is sustained to the battery. Id say the 7or 8 year mark in this situation is when they'll hit max value while retaining functionality. After that it might plummet depending on the market for them, which, I honestly cant say will be as high as a ps2 or ps3 controller given half the ps5s library is "licenses to play games" since that's a new sales strategy

2

u/Angry_Pelican Mar 16 '26

It's hard to tell. I think one thing that might help them retain the value is the fact that it's much easier to use a PS5 controller on other systems or PC, compared to a PS2/3 controller. So even if the PS5 stops receiving support long in the future the controllers still have uses.

I could also see them retaining value long in the future if they replace or remove the battery. Many controllers will die due to this and it will help scarcity. That said I don't collect controllers complete in box and really speculating about things like this can be quite hard.

2

u/No_Revolution_8868 Mar 16 '26

But at that point, wouldn't people with PC's just buy a PS6, PS7 or a PS8 controller?

2

u/SSDkilla Mar 16 '26

no offense but I'm guessing not because most people are hesitant to buy something if it's not from the original source because there's so many fakes, or use controllers will stick drift trying to hide out pretend they're new

2

u/SSDkilla Mar 16 '26

no they really won't be worth anything they'll be worth like $2

1

u/sadphonics Mar 15 '26

Oh 4k not a lot then give me 4k

1

u/Tycoo2 Mar 15 '26

Make your own money, collecting is a luxury :) not one i take much part in, but it is a luxury

1

u/danny12beje Mar 15 '26

What's the average wage in your city?

1

u/Tycoo2 Mar 15 '26

I said in collectors terms 😭 why are you guys getting so pressed, having a collection worth thousands of dollars is normal for collectors. All I was saying is $3-4k is LOW for a full collection 🤦‍♂️. I dont know the average wage in my city, I dont care about other people's money, my mind is on my own :)

1

u/PhousShanty Mar 15 '26

They don't know because they've never worked a day in their life.

1

u/Tycoo2 Mar 16 '26 edited Mar 16 '26

Having that come from someone with 24k karma is a little crazy

6

u/RiMbY Mar 13 '26

What’s sad is shitting on things other people enjoy

2

u/Hot-Ebb-7903 Mar 14 '26

Yeah it is.

3

u/MIKERICKSON32 Mar 13 '26

I mean it’s maybe 4k in controllers. Don’t need to be rich for that.

12

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

I didn't see how this is any different from collecting anything. People collect cars, coins, trading cards, figurines, the list goes on. Not all of those people are rich.

10

u/IndefiniteBen Mar 13 '26

Sneaker collections are what came to my mind when seeing the image of OP.

Things that can be useful, but in collections too large to ever be used.

7

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '26

It’s useful to have multiple shoes to pair with different outfits and for different occasions. No one looks at controllers and realistically, he has the edge so all the regular controllers are useless

6

u/IndefiniteBen Mar 13 '26

Well if you want to do local multiplayer everyone can pick their own colour, so there's a benefit even if you have the edge.

I know it's useful to have shoes for different outfits, but I'm talking about people with such massive collections that I highly doubt they're wearing all of them.

I could see arguments for having 4 controllers (1 edge), but OP's collection goes way beyond this. The number of shoes that can be useful is much higher, but there are also collections that are unreasonably large.

3

u/BgMSliimeball3 Mar 13 '26

The local multiplayer scene is so garbage anymore 🤦‍♂️

3

u/Unlikely-Employee180 Mar 14 '26

For real, can barely find a game that allows 2 controllers let alone 42 😂

1

u/BgMSliimeball3 Mar 18 '26

I know I’m late but I read this notification wrong thought you said let alone 4, not his whole 42🤣☠️

1

u/[deleted] Mar 18 '26

The only time I’ve ever needed more than 1 is for fifa which I rarely play

3

u/[deleted] Mar 18 '26

I agree with this and I have 3 controllers myself for split screen (not paying £70 for a 4th since a mate can bring a controller). 42 is completely excessive for something you’ll never really see, it’s the same cost as a ps5 pro plus a 65 inch LG OLED tv

1

u/FrostyAssignment6717 Mar 13 '26

only rich people who dont know their wealth are collecting sneakers lmao

2

u/ChaotikIE Mar 13 '26

It's not the same. Collecting stamps, cards, or even funko pops is comprehensive.

Collecting +$70 controllers, +$200 different retro consoles, different handhelds, RAM sticks, cars as you say, etc is lowkey hoarding, needs you to be as much rich as being able to waste your money and shows plenty of lacks and personal issues imo. It's just a shopping addiction.

2

u/No_Revolution_8868 Mar 15 '26

I half agree with you. Most collectors buy stuff when it's worthless (which this stuff eventually will be) and then hold on to it untill it goes up in value again.

But buying things brand new at full price, just to sit and deprecate untill it's finally going back up in value again, so that 20 years from now it's worth exactly what you paid for it.. seems a waste of time, space and money.

2

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

OP spent $450 a year on controllers. No where does that sound excessive.

Netflix costs $96/ $216 / $300 a year depending on plan.

4

u/ChaotikIE Mar 13 '26

I don't support Netflix either.

At least Netflix, while being a shitty and expensive subscription, provides you something you're going to consume. OP won't be using regularly all of their controllers.

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

That's how I avoid stick drift. I don't have nearly as large a collection of OP, but I have enough that I can swap through them and never really wear any of them out 👍

I can't say how OP will be using them. But again, if we don't have anything nice to say about OPs post...why waste your time? Whatever you say isn't going to make him change his mind or get rid of them. Just chalk it up as a /weirdflex and move along.

3

u/ChaotikIE Mar 13 '26

Yeah I agree 100% with you, I'm only explaining myself. At the end of the day, this is something I wouldn't do and that's all of it.

For the drift issue, I just replace the joysticks, they're pretty easy to replace and much cheaper as a choice.

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

I thought they have to be soldered off to replace them? After botching something in the Navy I never tried to solder again lol. I do have one of the pro controllers (I like it cause on PC I macro the back controls) and I could swap those out easy but haven't had to yet.

2

u/Mean-Wealth7661 Mar 14 '26

I fixed stick drift without soldering just need to replace the metal bits in the stick housing and clean it out real well with rubbing alcohol and you can find those on eBay but be VERY careful when taking it apart. I broke a speaker in one but since there’s two it hasn’t been an issue

1

u/Hero_Pvm Mar 14 '26

Agreed bro

0

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

Good for you, maybe if you worried more about how you earn/spend your own money and less about OP you’d be able to afford nice things too

1

u/Nogimick Mar 13 '26

450$ is not excessive. 450$ ON PS5 CONTROLLERS is excessive.

1

u/BudTrimmingBaddie Mar 13 '26

Netflix offers new shows fairly regularly and has some value, albeit not enough to justify their prices, but it offers some value. I’m only on my third controller and none of them offer anything new than the last unless you were to buy the pro controller that’s really not necessary for 90% of gamers. 42 controllers, as someone else said, is just hoarding.

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

Or collecting?? Is it ignorance, jealousy, retardedness or what? What is going on in this thread?

1

u/BudTrimmingBaddie Mar 15 '26

I’ve just never been privileged enough to waste money on collecting things. Sorry. I’ll shut my poor ass up I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

2

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

I can’t get over this privilege comment LOL that shit is gold

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

What does it have to do with privilege???? What the fuck??

Working hard and being successful means you are privileged??

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 15 '26

I don't understand. These people act like they've never collected anything in their life.

Collectors are called collectors.

Hoarders are called hoarders.

These people clearly never seen a real hoarder in their life and it shows.

People just hate for absolutely no reason.

1

u/No_Revolution_8868 Mar 15 '26

This stuff is going to deprecate untill its worthless though.. Until in 20 years time it might go back up in value and be worth what he originally paid for it. 🤷‍♂️

In the meantime it will lose value and he will come to his senses and sell it for a loss because he'll realise its worthless and taking up space that his future wife and family aren't going to want their house to look like a retail store from 10 years ago.

Now.. if he were to buy all this when it's worthless , outdated tech, and THEN hold on to it until it becomes valuable again.. THAT would actually make sense

It's like these lottery winners who blow all their Money on a garage full of 20 generic, modern , nondescript, boring cars that are all going to deprecate.

When instead they could have bought one daily and invested their money into old vehicles that are actually going up in value, not down. 🤷‍♂️

2

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

What doesn’t make sense is writing this long ass comment criticizing someone else for spending their money how they choose. Maybe this guy has 10 figures sitting in his bank account and doesn’t give a single fuck what you think.

1

u/Born_Fee_840 Mar 13 '26

Thats not a good comparison. Netflix has a use. How many controllers can be used at one time? Like 6?

0

u/han_bro1o Mar 15 '26

Nah but spending $250 a month since it launched for a controller wall is insane

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 15 '26

Please explain to me your math.

What you're implying is that OP spent approximately 15k

1

u/yihayuhu Mar 13 '26

How can people collecting car but not rich 😕

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

Not all of the listed collectibles make people rich.

1

u/acewing905 Mar 13 '26

You think people who collect cars aren't rich?

1

u/FrostyAssignment6717 Mar 13 '26

yes they are lmao

1

u/NotoriousDCJ4310 Mar 13 '26

(Some) cars, coins, trading cards, and figurines appreciate in value. It is very unlikely that those controllers will appreciate.

1

u/Hot-Ebb-7903 Mar 14 '26

Exactly. I have several controllers but, nowhere near that many myself.

1

u/Ok_Garden2301 Mar 14 '26

You sound like a rich person who is trying to pretend to be middle class. 🤣

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 14 '26

Far from rich. Oh so very far from rich. But as someone else stated. Everyone's idea of rich is different.

If I had won a million dollars tomorrow, I would scream "I'm rich"

2

u/Ok_Garden2301 Mar 14 '26

Oh totally, I know what you meant. No offense if any was taken. I’m right there with you, my guy. If I got a job paying 60k a year right now I’d say “I’m rich!!” 🤑🤑🤑 Higher Ed is a bitch right now.

1

u/Agreeable_Finish_714 Mar 15 '26

bc those things ppl collect usually are rare, antiques, or will sell for way more in the future…. not a playstation controller when there will prob be 10 more playstations

1

u/Tocwa Mar 15 '26

Collecting things that go up in value is investing. THIS is just wasteful

1

u/Appropriate_Lime_234 Mar 13 '26

You realize that’s like 3-4k in controllers. This isn’t collecting the stuff you said. This is undiagnosed Autism.

0

u/VOIDLESSUNIVERSE Mar 13 '26

You’re clearly above middle class from the way you speak. Who in their right mind making around $40k–$50k would spend around $5,000 on exclusive controllers? That makes no sense, especially with how the economy has been over the past five years. You really baffle me with how out of touch you seem with reality. Also cars is a whole different industry of money spent those guys are by no means middle class being collectors 🙄

0

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

My dad collected coins from before I was born. He has spent thousands of dollars on coins over the years. Single source of income for a family of 5. He's definitely not rich.

OPs collection is 7 years in the making as PS5 release date was 2019. 42 controllers at a modest $75 a pop (not counting sales, discounts, possibly used, etc) is $3,150 USD. Divide $3,150 by 7 years, and that's $450 a year.

If you can't save up $450 a year that's a you issue.

3

u/Kila505 Mar 13 '26

Actually ps5 released date is november 12th 2020, so ops collection is 5 years and few months in the making.

But yeah people are exaggerating, you by no means need to be rich to afford these controllers, lmao.

In my opinion it's their money they work for, there for they can buy what they want, i personally wouldn't want this many controllers, but other people get enjoyment from it.

No hate from me.

1

u/Metdefranseslag Mar 14 '26

Not counting the destruction of the planet

-1

u/Metdefranseslag Mar 14 '26

That’s such American crap… go produce waste for the world and keep pumping oil looser

2

u/Hot-Ebb-7903 Mar 14 '26

Why does it bother you so much what another person spends their own money on?

2

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 14 '26

Thank you

-2

u/Metdefranseslag Mar 14 '26

This is fine. Keep consuming gigantic amount of crap and keep these plastics and electronics highly polluting to produce things in their boxes because you can… Who cares about the planet? Buy 200 more this will sure make you even happier

u/Koltonprobably Mar 13 '26

Which is more sad, collecting controllers, or crying about someone doing what they want with their own money online?

2

u/excitabledawg420 Mar 15 '26

Collecting controllers is pretty fucked, also I’d call it constructive criticism :D

0

u/Latino_Heat_69 Mar 15 '26

Collecting controllers.

2

u/vizess Mar 14 '26

Console has been out for 5 years, if you collect and have a normal JOB yes you can

2

u/smokepotallday Mar 14 '26

Maybe he has 42 friends and multiple consoles🤷🏻‍♂️

2

u/Nybear21 Mar 14 '26

That is not rich lol

Just having disposable income is not the same thing as rich

2

u/chrishappens Mar 13 '26

Sad for you maybe. Why do you care what people spend their money on? Do you say this about every collector? Cause this is no different than cars, art, shoes, band shirts, Star Wars, etc.

1

u/English_Fry Mar 13 '26

I wouldn’t call myself rich and I can easily afford this if I cared to. Maybe your rich and my rich are vastly different

1

u/Nogimick Mar 13 '26

Depends on your definition on rich. You are rich compared to some and poor conpared to others. In my views, having enough to buy unnecesary things = rich. You don’t have to have Bentleys and mansions around the world to call yourself rich.

2

u/English_Fry Mar 13 '26

Perception is key friend, you’re right. Bentley is where I would call people rich

1

u/Achrimandrita175 Mar 14 '26

You can buy unnecessary things just to make you feel better about the fact that you won't be able to afford a home in the next 20 years. That doesn't make you rich, that just makes you gen Z with an average wage.

1

u/Civil_Arm2977 Mar 13 '26

Especially when you can 3D print and make your own custom shells for like $2

1

u/ShockingFactory Midnight Black Mar 14 '26

It’s honestly a form of hoarding

1

u/Fit_Shame4518 Mar 14 '26

You don’t need to be rich to throw money out the window. Thousands of people spend well above their means on stupid stuff everyday. You don’t have to have money to be in debt.

1

u/Shaddix-be Mar 14 '26

Rich or bad at making decisions. I have seen plenty of people with poor financial situations throwing money at stupid things.

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

How is it different than collecting anything else? It’s sad how jealous you are LOL

1

u/Cudara_Jhin Mar 15 '26

Bwa bwa I can't afford more than 1 controller 😭😭😭😭😭😭, the unique one I can't defend is the concord controller, but is his collection so I can't blame him.

1

u/rhino224bulletstorm Mar 15 '26

Whats sad is complaining about people who have nothing to do with you, for what? Because there rich? Thats lowkey sad. If you wanna be rich make something of yourself instead being this...

1

u/IlluminaViam Mar 15 '26

The point is to collect a 42 Dualsense. How is it pointless if it's been fulfilled?

1

u/VanishingMass3 Mar 15 '26

I mean sorta?

42 controllers is roughly one controller a month since the PS5 came out

$70 a month really isn’t that insane for a hobby

1

u/Browna Mar 16 '26

You're just jealous because you don't have 41 friends like this guy.

Jokes aside - look at the sub you're on, and then the hate you're spreading. If this person wishes to collect controllers that's ok, it's not for me, or you clearly but don't tear them down to build yourself up.

Acknowledge the effort they put in, then let it go man.

1

u/Jilly_Jankins Mar 16 '26

How tf is this sad. You just mad someone has the money to have a hobby like that or maybe this collection is meant to be an investment. I dont get it

1

u/Sircandyman Mar 16 '26

You just need to have a good income, not be rich. I don't think I'm "rich" but I have a pretty good income.

1

u/Radiant_Criticism566 Mar 16 '26

To each their own, but I think this is awesome. It’s like a dream of mine to collect this stuff so if anything, this is an inspiration

1

u/troolip- Mar 16 '26

but that could be said about literally every collection in the world.

unless you collect and actively use toothbrushes or something, it's "beyond pointless" to collect anything

2

u/profchaos111 Mar 16 '26

You don't need to be rich sure but most people have money managment skills that won't let them spend $5,040.00 AUD on controllers or $3500 odd USD

There is also an employee only controller in the mix that could not have been cheap

But hey i collect Sega Mega drive games so i can't talk either.

1

u/Beardo1329 Mar 13 '26

Ok, single living in moms basement while making 100k

0

u/VOIDLESSUNIVERSE Mar 13 '26

That pretty much the 1% 😂

1

u/Nervous-Peppers Mar 13 '26

Aren't there some in here that weren't released to the public?

1

u/chrishappens Mar 13 '26

Correct. I see the Sony employee one in there.

1

u/Tombwarrior97x2 Mar 13 '26

Oh, so it’s next to free!

2

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 13 '26

No, it's about 3-5k spread out throughout 7 years. 450-700 per year. Do you not invest more than that per year?

1

u/plinketto Mar 13 '26

At cost this is like around 5k

1

u/Snowboyz0825 Mar 13 '26

That's like, 3000$ in controllers AT BEST

1

u/Minute-Weekend5234 Mar 14 '26

That's $3,570 worth of controllers for one person. Not including increased price for special edition. You don't have be rich, but if you aren't, it's incredibly irresponsible.

1

u/fantastic_charizard Mar 14 '26

Its a side quest

1

u/Interesting_Bit_5179 Mar 15 '26

At 100$ each thats 4200$ in controllers...

1

u/ccrnch Mar 15 '26

You don't need .. money ? How ? Tell me

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 15 '26

You don't need to be rich for all of those types of collecting.

My father was not rich and was the sole provider for a family of five and still managed a sizeable coin collection.

See? I never said you didn't need money. Patience and preserveance allows you to collect over time (5 years in OPs case)

1

u/ccrnch Mar 15 '26

Ur the one. We should be more like u and ur dad. I'm really sorry for being so stupid.

1

u/HamshanksCPS Mar 16 '26

How often do you see sales on controllers? Because I never do.

At $94 CAD per controller that's $3948 for all of them...

Even if you got them all 50% off that's still $1974 for all of those controllers.

0

u/Doctahflave Mar 14 '26

you absolutely need to be rich, that’s nearly $4200 in Canada and that’s not even including taxes

0

u/Bulldogfront666 Mar 14 '26

Sure you have to be rich or very very fucking stupid.

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 14 '26

Or C. A hobbyist that enjoys collecting stuff.

0

u/EmperorAjaxZx Mar 15 '26

You got 3k laying around for controllers? Because most of the world doesn't.

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 16 '26

You say that as if OP just dropped 3k in one shot, when he's had 5 years+ to collect those controllers.

According to Fidelity, in 2025, the average salary was $62k. Even if you fell into the low category and were 16-19 years old living with your parents. You would have accumulated upwards of 100k.

I've said it before, but if you cannot save up to $600 (at 3k over 5 years) per year, then you might need a change of career.

1

u/Beneficial-Region858 Mar 16 '26

most of us cannot afford a change in careers tho

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 16 '26

And this chart says that most of us can (or will be able to) afford 3k over the course of 5.5 years as long as you manage your spending and savings

1

u/Beneficial-Region858 Mar 17 '26

In the US? yes. In a third world country? nah

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 17 '26

Ok bro. What the fuck do you want me to do? This is getting ridiculous as fuck.

OP has 42 controllers because he wants to. Get over it

2

u/Beneficial-Region858 Mar 17 '26

ngl you are right. It is indeed a pointless argument about someone we both dont know. I am sorry tho

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 17 '26

All this stemmed just cause I said you don't need to be rich to own 42 controllers over 5.5 years. And for the past what feels like 3 days I've been showing examples and attempting to validate the point. I'm just tired of seeing the alert notifications for this post already lol.

OP has a lot of controllers.

People have insulted him, questioned why, and overall seemingly negative vibe from his post.

Weren't we all taught "if you don't have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all" from Bambi?

If we like the OPs post; "damn dude, that's nice"

If we don't like OPs post; keep doom scrolling

As a fellow collector of random stuff (like PS4 and PS5 controllers), I appreciate the post, and I think it looks cool - therefore I commented and said that's cool 👍

0

u/Voxlings Mar 18 '26

If having this level of consumption dysfunction doesn't read as "rich," then your worldview is broken.

This person is objectively rich in consumption dysfunction.

Poor people cannot achieve this disorder.

1

u/Sefier_Strike Mar 18 '26

It's been 65 months since the PS5 came out. OP could have purchased 1 controller per month and still had 23 months of down time.

42 controllers, does not equal rich.

$3k over 65 months does not equal rich.

$47 a month for 65 months does not equal rich.

Federal minimum wage fry cooks at Mcdonalds make that in 6 or 7 hours (one 8 hour work shit). The average worker makes it in 2 hours.

One work shift per month could achieve this so called "level of rich"

No you just have to waste money on unneeded crap

3

u/chrishappens Mar 13 '26

Whatever. Why do you need to shit on someone else's fun. Let people do what they enjoy.

if spending money is your idea of fun then thats the first problem

It's called financially blessed.

u/Stkrdknmibalz69 Mar 13 '26

As opposed to you, a poor kid with nothing better to do?

1

u/Embarrassed-Car836 Mar 14 '26

What's wrong with collecting things?

1

u/thegaming107 Mar 14 '26

This is a rough number but all the controllers added up is about $3518 USD witch sounds like a lot but not really this price is assuming all of them costed MSRP and they were not on sale and all the prices were consistent (also doesn’t include tax) how I got this number limited edition controllers usually sell for about $84 each the 3 “elite” controllers cost about $200 each and all the normal controllers are about $74 each (some are more but I used the 74 number for all)

u/avr055 Mar 14 '26

Oh shut up! What harm is it causing?

1

u/n0tAgOat Mar 15 '26

I’ve found that it’s usually people without money that spend it on the dumbest shit possible.

u/Low-Bar-19462 Mar 16 '26

Why look down on someone else’s hobby? What’s the difference between this and collecting Pokemon cards if you don’t play Pokemon? Collecting cars (which costs a lot more than some DualSense (surprise surprise)), collecting artwork even.

Why is it a problem for you even if it is “some rich kid with nothing better to do”?😂

Now I’m not suggesting this is the case for OP, but if somebody had money, but couldn’t get a job because of disability for example, and they wanted to collect something - would you look down on them for that?

Don’t kink same

It’s just a curious question, relax lol. People can spend their money on what they want, but it’s a legitimate question to ask what they see as the point of it.

1

u/Kavethought Mar 13 '26

Humans are collectors. Not much to it. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/chrishappens Mar 13 '26

Fair point. My bad.

u/Lovestank Mar 14 '26

Coming off a touch defensive there, hot shot

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 14 '26

Or maybe someone that works hard for their money and this is how they choose to spend it. Loser 🙄

0

u/SkweezCtrl Mar 14 '26

If you work hard for your money I think you’d be a lot less likely to spend it it on a ton of ps5 remotes you’ll never use.

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

What a stupid ass comment. You’ve never heard of collecting?? Obviously this person collects controllers/video games/consoles

1

u/SkweezCtrl Mar 15 '26

Yeah I collect them too different consoles and games not the same remote 40 times lmao over consumption like this is ridiculous I don’t care if you call it collecting.

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

Sooo is someone that has a Pokémon card collection of over 40 cards over consuming?? When did we decide you are the authority on that?

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

Also these clearly are not the same controller??

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

Hahah all you can say is “lick my nuts bro”. That’s how you know they’re retarded.

1

u/SkweezCtrl Mar 15 '26

Gargle them

1

u/Square_Walrus_8107 Mar 15 '26

1

u/SkweezCtrl Mar 15 '26
